@paintballnerd you need a barrel kit with different diameter backs like the freak to prevent rollouts because the bolt pushes the balls pass the detent when it cycles. Get a barrel kit and you'll be set.

Great video. I have a question. Around 37:22 you can hear just a slight air sound before the gun recocks. I have a 2003 WGP, haven't clean the 3 way in a while but when I slightly pull the trigger, a lot more air comes out than in 37:22. Is this from a worn out oring or something else? hope someone can answer. thanks

As far as sweet spotting the reg: when you say "as you increase the pressure..." are you referring to increasing the pressure of the High Pressure regulator? As far as I know on my stock reg on my '04 I don't think you can even adjust the HPR pressure.

Idk about mike but I love my 05 prostock. I would argue that the 05 was their last good marker.

Especially if you put a clamping feedneck on it. Shoots just a good as the older cockers if timed right.

@NYmosVids it doesn't need to be pumped but all guns need to be cocked (not like an openbolt tippman) when its cocked the bolt is in the back position, therefore the ball can fall in the breech when fired the bolt slams forward and simultaneously allows the gas to be released on the ball for 5 - 25 milliseconds that is called the dwell...

I love my cockers and ill never change, the only thing that out preforms a mech cocker is a marker with electronics. Having kids and playing on a budget its nice to have a "68 Camaro" that if something goes wrong, IF anything goes wrong its a matter of a 2 cent seal and 10 min to fix it rather than spending 150 bucks on a new circut board.the reliability issue is an easy matter solved two ways.1.Knowing your friggin' equipment and 2. loc-tite.

The beaver tail isn't to stop the back block smacking your mask. Its from when they were/are pumps, Stops you 'thumbing' the cocking rod and increasing your velocity through the roof! you used to have to fit a fully enclosed cap in tourny's to prevent cheating! Its a bit harder on autocockers but still possible, even on an electro one 300 fps, quick press and booom 400fps! lol

I may have to come and kill you for this mistake.... sod sweet spotting! :D

well it depends what year your gun was made. mines a 04 so i just bought a 2k + pump kit from ansgear... the only real reason to spend alot of money for a pump kit is if you want a super smooth stroke, which is good but in my opinion not worth paying a shitload for a pump kit... its just a pump. remember those words.
