On the recording Little Walter is playing an A harp in the key of A and you are using a D harp ,so it is not possible to duplicate what is being played.
@TheSnidge Little Walter is playing straight harp not cross harp on this track-A harp in the key of A.
The main riff is a walk up from the 2 draw to the 4 blow.
There are at least three videos of me playing this tune on YouTube with different bands but I'm not about promoting myself,I'm just giving you a friendly helpful tip.

@TheSnidge Hi, ... just a few thoughts ...
1.) it didn't intend to duplicate LW - I was just vamping to this song
2.) if the song key is in A, the cross harp is played in second position in D
3.) if you are a harp player (are you?), please show me how you play along with this song with an A-harp
I'm waiting for your video ... I'm ready to learn ... :-)
