  • Love this old Tull stuff - ian is so damn Deeeeeeep !!!!

  • IAN WAS AND IS A GENIUS OF A MUSICIAN,PERFORMER AND SONG WRITER...HANDS DOWN!

  • One of the best shows I have ever seen 1970 with Yes as the opening act !

  • This song is so beautiful I don't even know man.

  • Deutschland sucht Tull !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • One of the best albums of that generation, my generation...

  • benefit possibly my fav tull album is kind of sad an intimistic, balladish and folkish

  • @pontello3 .....that's a lot of 'ish. LOL

  • ignore my nickname - i truly love the "tull" and forever will ....... a true rare gem of a band which it's musicianship and talent is still unsurpassed today and probably for many years to come.

  • @Urbanheckler Right you are my friend....I had the pleasure seeing them right after Thick as a Brick came out...to this day the absolute best live concert I have seen and I have seen scores of them. No brag : Just fact. I sat with my mouth open for two plus hours....I literally could not believe what I was hearing from the stage...stellar musicianship.

  • @clyde8her Damn straight brother. It was also my first concert EVER (right after

'Thick aa Brick')...probably 14-15 at the time...burnin' thai stick and groovin on Tull...ah yes.

  • @Urbanheckler of all progressisve rock groups, Tull, Yes and Rush stand head and shoulders above the rest because of their musicianship, something sorely lacking in today's music scene. We need another British invasion and a good shot of the Blues to turn music around again and make it worh listening

  • Song from a man, sung in the age of men, for the love of a woman. Ian Anderson, brilliant!

  • it's perhaps a name?

  • mein lieblingssong von dieser lp...

  • what is the meaning of sossity? i cannot find it even on the oxford dictionary

  • @mafiasucksdicks

... maybe they mean Society? After all, "Jethro Toe" (sic) was somewhere credited with "Serenade to a Duckoo" (sic) once. Alas for ze Engrish langwidge ... only the music counts!

  • @mafiasucksdicks Sossity = Society. The song is highly symbolic.

  • @00RoninSamurai00 u think brillaint observation sherlock

  • @c0137509 If you weren't such an imbecile, perhaps you would have noticed I was answering someone's question.

  • @00RoninSamurai00 touche just a little joke to get into the mix Are you familiar with To Be the Play by Brian Myers? comparing Ian Andersons 10 year journey from Stand Up to Heavy Horses with Shakespeare?

  • @c0137509 No problem. I looked into To Be the Play, and it looks quite interesting. I'll see if I can find a copy of it. Thanks for the tip.

  • @00RoninSamurai00 I ordered it from the back of rolling stone magazine about 30 years ago good luck

  • @c0137509 Thanks again.

  • @c0137509 Awsome,.... hey can you post the article? Maybe on The Jethro Tull Board. Thanks for the info....
