@100domathon i mean in terms of the action. the fight coreography is weak as hell compared to todays. classic van damme B movie but the fighting sux.

@vintagesoul73911 Yeah some of the moves look like they were executed too slowly, but this scene has such a different mood and feel than any other. That's what makes it badass. I feel way more suspense in this sequence than I do in, say, a Jet Li scene where he's taking on a pack of ninjas or something. Plus, the editing kind of mitigates the slowness and makes everything look cold and calculated. From the beginning you know the bad guys are not just beaten, but doomed. That's why it's so great.

Van Damnes spinning punches are cool. Great old flick. He uses the side kick in alot of movies. We learned that move in TKD and it is powerful.

This is the first Van Damme movie i ever saw. Was only 6 years old. Everything was so intense. The trippy music, quick camera cuts and double takes on roundhouse kicks. This was some revolutionary shit.
