Also know where your gas meter is, if it's outside, after you get out you can shut it off with a wrench which will help slow the fire.

the very fact that the episodes were re-aired for the next 9 years seems to be as a good a proof as anyone could want that new episodes would also be very popular as originals & reruns [especially in this age of "reality tv".

It's cancelled now. It originally aired on Cbs from September 5, 1989, to September 3, 1996. Reruns of it were on the Family Channel, (now ABC Family,) from about 1993 to 1998, Odisey, (now the Hallmark Channel,) from 2,000 to 2,002, and On Discovery Health Channel from 2003 to 2005.

As a side note, the Series Finale of Rescue 911 aired on August 27, 1996, but the last episode to ever air on Cbs was a repeat that aired on September 3, 1996.
