The smilodon are smilodon populator because smilodon populator lived in prehistoric south america and smilodon fatalis lived in north america. In the video they say that the setting is S. America.

coz smilodon populator was the biggest of all smilodons and its weight was over 300kg and some species may have weighted 400kg!
a long time ago ive found i species of smilodon, it was much bigger than S. populator.
it was 1.6 m high, 3,7m long, its skull was 40cm long
this sabre tooth was a giant

Agreed! But they also discovered a siberian tiger at 900 pounds (450 kg.) So in my opinion they might have weight almost 500 kg ore more!
