  • Dear Lennie, which river were you referring to when you composed this song? I have been told it is the East River in New Glasgow. Carol Riley

  • Lennie is awesome. He needs to make his way to Ontario so I can hear him live. Keep singing Lennie!

  • The first time I ever heard Lennie Gallant was during the Acadian Festival Concert on 'the hill' back in 2002?

Amazing - this is one of my favorite songs by Lennie. I have not seen him since, unfortunately!

  • I loved this song the first time I heard it. The first time I seen the video I was shocked as I am from Restigouche; New Mills. The scenes from Campbellton, Belledune and the Acadian coast were pretty cool. I think the cottage room is the Bonaventure here in New Mills but I am not sure. I heard you sing this for your final song at the New Years thing in Halifax and it brought me back.

  • I bought this album in the mid or late 90's after hearing the song "Peter's Dream" on the radio. Now I can't find the CD and I might have to get it off iTunes because I really want to hear the amazing songs on this album..

  • Hey Lennie, You filmed most of this vid in Campbellton NB and surrounding areas. I'm curious why you chose our small town? I think it's awesome that the Restigouche Sam and the Van Horne Bridge are in your video!!! I also like the Belldune Berry! What are the other locations?

  • AHHHH! That fish is in the video! "Restigouche Sam" - Is this the name of the fish statue? I took a picture with the fish in it from the car (no I wasn't driving lol) in a recent trip, and then later, I couldn't for the life of me remember where it was!

Anyway... amazing song from an amazing album.

  • I love this song!!!

  • First heard this song on (I think) a Homebrew CD - and fell in love with it. Thanks Lennie for posting the video .. kind regards, Rosie
