In this game, King K. Rool doesn't ride with barrel jets attached to him like the other characters do. He rides in a rocket-powered barrel, but his controls are still the same as the others.

Y'know what I don't understand? The final showdown with K.Rool is at Alpine Peak, a peaceful snowbound racetrack with Christmas-like music. You'd think we'd do this duel at a scarier place like Mt. Dynamite, or I dunno, Shimmering Sea.

well most fights with K.Rool fights are never synomynous to their locations except for more recent ones lol. King K.Rool you fight on a ship which should be Kaptain K.Rool's location, Kaptain K.Rool you fight in something K.Roolenstein should be in. Just thought it might live on a tradition of odd locations.
