it is truly amazing what feelings happen inside of you and what your mind does while listening to music and watching visuals that you loved so much as a child. You can suddenly be taken back in time to sitting on the living room floor, legs crossed in front of the TV and wishing you could BE the characters you're watching..you hear, smell, AND feel everything you used to when you would watch your favorites...i just love it!

Favorite Lyrics from this movie: "You can own the Earth and still all you'll own is Earth until..." That right there gives me goosebumps.

Also during the "Savages" scene where she sings "How loud are the drums of war?" and "Is the death of all I love carrying the druming of..." The music is wonderful in this movie...absolute masterpiece.

@tongeli Music and voice are usually done first then animation. More voice work may occur once the animation is finished if re-dubbing is needed.

@tongeli u cant do all at the same time, usually, its the music and Voice are done first, then they work on the animation and sork on the way the characters speak at the same time when theyre singing with the same rhythm

Pocahontas all the way!I agree with all of ou this is the true Disney. I feel like crying cuz i miss it so much and i just wish that disney would realize that all the hannah montana jonas brothers, demi lovato and all that garbage isn't disney this is. It's about Dreams, love, all this what happened?I only wish we could do something to make them make classics like these again.I feel bad for those that are growing up with this modern disney i'm glad i grew up with them

Alan Menken is THE MAN. He's got the music of little mermaid, aladdin, beauty and the beast, pocahontas, hunchback of notre dame and enchanted all under his belt. He is my idol!!!

@krazykatievids In a sense she is alive in the hundreds of thousands of descendants of herself and her real historical documented husband John Rolfe. (She may even have had one child by Kocoum. No one really knows.) Perhaps a minute bit of her spirit lives in them.

"If I Never Knew You" by Mel Gibson and Judy Kuhn, in my opinion, is even better than the song they had the two music artists do! It was just so heart-wrenching and just pulled at my heart strings... but I am happy they left it out of the film, because it just would have messed with the tent scene.

i wanna make a computer animated film adaption of kingdom hearts but i found out after watching this documentry that u also have to draw a character for a cgi film then u create the computer animated model even though directors of animated films have people who draw for them the director still has to be good at drawing i cant wait to get out of highschool go to film school and get all this pressure off my back

SO am i! I love these behind the scene videos because it helps me insind what goes into the animation part of these movies. When i draw a character i like to imagine that i am that character and what i would do if i was that character it really helps bring the character alive for me. Reather it's a rat or a princess i can see myself in them, you know what i mean?
