No, the lens and reflector is made by plastic so they melts. The batteries are not supposed to be that hot, so if you are unlucky your light can explode duo to overheating.
Incan bulbs can work in extreme high temperatures, so that's the reason it works in the fire. A LED light would problaly break cause of overheating at the LED, because LEDs can't handle high temperatures.
I bought an 4D Maglite! stunning build-quality and very Bright&adjustable Light. They are really Tough how you can see. I would never buy anything else! nice vid!
