I have a question, I'm quite new to ocarinas so your probably going to laugh when I ask this. I'm just after buying and oot, its awesome but I can't figure out what the random hole on the back of it is for... and also when I play it for too long (5 mins wise) the tune changes completley and sometimes dosn't work :( help?

@ramboracoon the holes on the back of the OOT (in order) are : a left thumb hole, a sound hole and then a right thumb hole. hope that clears up confusion! and the out of tune thing, well as ocarinas warm up as you play (assuming it is a good quality ocarina) they get more in tune. Now about it not working after a bit that could be spit, food, and any other foreign material. It could be a defect or just what you do when you play.

Bloody well fab, mats - even if you did all miss that one tricky note during 'make it better' that a lot of cover artists (vocal and instrumental) seem to not notice for some reason. Mind you, I'm terrible at most instruments and rarely sing anymore, so I've little room to talk - and that note very much frustrated me when I did try to play the song on my own ocarina when alone.

In any case, thanks for sharing this with us all!

I'm happy to say I finally got my first ocarina. It's an alto concerto c ocarina! I was suprised how affordable ocarinas are in my country, compared to us prices. I love piano, and drums, but I can't afford them right now, I'm still educating myself. I never knew that ocarina existed, until I played legend of zelda a while ago, then I subscrbed to your channel, and got fascinated by this instrument. When I found out how cheap ocarinas are... well at least in my country, I immediately ordered it

The four way split screen reminds me of the famous 'Let it Be' cover. Aside from your good self, I particularly like the middle aged bearded man's ocarina playing - the trills sound wonderful.

Also, I really love the sound of those ocarinas and might just order one. [Sigh] it's been a while, though I've been down since '98. My claim to fame is having tabbed nearly all the Zelda songs for websites like Clayz and co.

The one David used was Aluminium, Ubizmo and berightbard used a Warmstone, and spattolo used a Polycarbonate. :)
