Love it,,I finished in 3 hours and 23 mintues smashing my personal best time by 1 and a half hours.At the time it was unknown for a athlete to reduce his time by such a large margin.My coach was Hugh Jones wearing No 5 a top international now retired.I retired in 2000.

@StephenHendry69 Hi - 2:59:45 - actually, my official time was 2:59:36.
But it took me around a minute to reach the start, this was before the days of transponders, so in today's money it would be 2:58
