  • @MoochingHUN1993 or some dodgey Spyware on it. Surveying your internet banking :P

  • Have you tried putting an admin pass on your BIOS, Just like the CTRL+ALT+DEL Logon command, it stops software and virus's from logging on your machine. The only way that combination can be put in, is Local side. So try that. :D

  • @MoochingHUN1993

    a guy did create that

but it wasnt released to the public and there haven't been one case of such an attack

  • So what's innovative about this? Geez, I'm glad I'm using a Mac. Seeing the Windows UI gives me a headache.

  • @kkinski2000

The innovation is upgrading and management throughout many systems on a network, remotely. Before you had to go one by one.

You are locked down to do only a handful of things on OSX. Which is extremely limiting in many areas of businesses and general use.

Macs are just to look pretty and simple for a computer illiterate. They just want simple things done, that's all.

That's why Microsoft is still dominating the market. It's not about fancy UI, it's functionality and control.

  • Have you ever heard of the term "Unix command-line"? Macs have one, and it certainly is a powerful tool :) It does everything you could possibly imagine.

  • @kkinski2000

Yeap, I have. I'm a Linux users in addition to a Windows. Using the "terminal" or "shell" is great but most upgrades carried out (in the video) have to be done locally.

That's why it makes it an innovation.

I don't mean to sound like I'm flaming at Apple Mac.

I just hate seeing Mac users (or even ignorant Windows users) point fingers at many options. As if their brains are going to explode if they had to read, look and understand.

Of course the function demonstrated in the video is more towards larger businesses.

Frankly in the server and business industry, Apple OS's are the last thing you would want to run. For day to day browsing the net, facebooking and whatnot, OSX is fine.

  • Well. I agree... A proper server should run Solaris on Sun architecture. Nevertheless, I think that a GUI should never expose too many options for usability purposes. GUI's are made for users. Administrations should, well, use the command-line by all means. And Windows is definitely the last OS I would recommend to run as a server!!

  • @kkinski2000

The GUI in the video is actually many options expanded and has multiple windows opened at a time.

I also thought that the less you need to manually maintain through command line, the better.

Say, weekly SVN upgrades. I know that I prefer clicking buttons to typing commands. Of course larger system configs would have to still go commands.

Windows Server - Compatibility = OSX server. Both are crap.

  • where is my core i9 ya know amd is making there 6 core cpu right

  • I KNOW! D:<

But still Intel will be Years ahead of the game, AMD may get six corese first, But they will never have the technology Intel has, Which makes intel... MORE EPIC :D

  • to shay good sir

  • It's not the core i9, the Core i7 980x is going to be their 6 core 12 thread CPU.

Also, I'm pretty sure Intel is quite aware of what their competition is doing. Fucking idiot.

  • intel is all about business

  • goto engadget and type core i9. please read op before posting

o and why can the "intel" channel cant even name some of there videos

ps name calling is silly and childish comeback when you a bit more mature

  • I still don't believe they are going to call it the i9, there has been soo much speculation over the internet about what it's going to be called. Well, No matter what it's called, I'm getting it, because well... Its gonna be epic, and i would chose Intel ANY DAY over AMD, just like Nvidia over ATI, because ATI make up their own RAM "DDR5" WTF, Where is DDR4, Oh wait, DDR5 Is over clocked DDR3, Which is VERY unstable, that's why i never want a gfx card with DDR5 until DDR4 is made.
