  • The beginning of the song was pure peace and darkness. And then the big bang occured, and with it the universe expands. This song created the universe.

  • It was to this music the universe was created, and it is to it that it shall end.

  • I remember that I cried when I heard that in theater!

It's amazing, Hans Zimmer is a god!

  • Think about those 20 idiots who dislike this

  • Anyone know the track name when Langdon realizes where to head to next, there's a choir with it...

  • Hanz Zimmer's most amasing soundtrack ever made, gossebumps all over my body, started to listen to these kind of songs since I was 10.

Thank you Hanz Zimmer, for brining the "real" music instead of that pop and rap shit

  • its amazing how zimmer can put together all really interesting uses of technology and yet still make it musicall interesting and epic modern dance music could learn so much from this

  • Amazing... wonderful soundtrack. Hans Zimmer = god.

  • God particle = this soundtrack

  • It makes me want to be in a film and be running away from the bad guys in a forest or something...

  • @MissEmilyFleur lol Sameeee!!!

  • Sounds like 503 for like the first 20 seconds...

  • This track be played very LOUDLY! :)

  • Joshua Bell<3

  • Who the serious fuck disliked this?

  • Quiet simply, Hans Zimmer is amazing.

  • amazing soundtrack!!!

  • Amazing. I don't just hear the music, I feel it.

  • I love closing my eyes and listening to this and imagining what it would be like if science and religion mixed.

  • Ewan Mcgregor must have 18 youtube accounts

  • @jaredleslie XD

  • wow play this on full volume

  • 4:30 sounds a little like Incpetion...i love how all of his songs connect with each other.

  • Epic. First is Langdons Chevaliers theme then goes right into the full choral Illuminati theme. :D

  • CERN has created and captured actual anti-matter particles, it's only a matter of time

  • @zaphod96usa though the amount they can produce is really small.

  • hans zimmer is an old man now but he can do musics that anyone can't do it

  • parece mentira el poder de HANS ZIMMER,para la creación de bandas sonoras, todas ellas obras maestras y la culminación de todas ellas es la banda sonora de INCEPTION,lo mejor que ha hecho en toda su carrera

  • The lone violin at the start of this piece is so haunting yet comforting, beautiful yet mysterious and above all, just brilliantly awesome.

  • Come to see my mix of movie soundtracks made on classical guitar!!! /watch?v=H-rPizk-w6k

  • Epic music, epic movie. Nuff said.

  • i love the part from 0.00 to 0.42 <33

  • @averyfatsnail12 In the very beginning of the movie. Just listen for that choir.

  • @MariusChamberlin thnx :)

  • West Johnston HS

  • 17 people are lifeless.

Cos this is the essence of beautiful music.

  • @ParadoxialHumour It is because not ''cos'' and you cannot start a sentence with because.

  • @deathmauler181 wow you pay more attention to my choice of grammar than the point of my comment.

  • @deathmauler181 ahahaha duuude chillax

  • @ParadoxialHumour Well i do not know what they teach in schools where you live but proper grammar is never a bad thing. Also i will agree it is beautiful music but the whole ''17 people are lifeless'' comments like those are really dumb.Figured i would point that out, just because you are on the internet is no excuse for improper grammar.

  • @deathmauler181 improper grammer would be a sentence like such: "these music are much nice" notice the difference? i merely shortened a word which is of no particular vital importance in the point of my statement, a word which no one who reads youtube comments gives a rats ass about, and a word you should have spent less time complaining about, and more time to listen to the beauty of the song on this page. You just turned my opinion into a pointless grammatical quarrel.

  • @deathmauler181 You're telling somebody how to use proper grammar when you yourself don't know how to use it? Please, spare me the humour. Just enjoy the soundtrack.

  • lozza if u listen closley at around 0:40 u can hear chipmunks

  • @Raymund925 the hair on my arm begins to raise XD

  • i like this one for some reason

  • great !

  • I hope this exact song is played during the Earth's "supposed" final moments in 2012, just so that if it does end, we go down like it's a slow-mo movie scene of final destruction. How awesome?

On a more serious note, this is one of the best pieces I've ever heard, perfectly suited to the film.

  • @75tim192l4

    wow your thinking positive.

In 2013, I will send you a private message telling you about your apparent 2012 doomsday thing. Good Day

  • If you read it, you will notice the "supposed",

    Good day

  • @75tim192l4 you mean 2220?

  • @Thatanas I don't think he means 2220. Nostradamus predicted that the world would end in 2012. I can't really explain how he predicted it because it's too long. It has something to do with the Earth and the Sun doing something every so often, and 2012 is the next time it is set to happen. Thus, believing the world will end in 2012.

  • @BBFalconShot Yeah, but that's according to the Maya calender I believe? Because that calender stops at 2012.

Resent research showed that they made a miscalculation and that it actually stops at 2220.

  • @Thatanas Oh really? Sorry, I hadn't heard that.. Well, I'm sure we'll find out in December of 2012. Otherwise, we'll look down on those people in 2220.

  • @BBFalconShot

No need to apologize. It's just something I read and it sounded plausible. Not that I believe in either of the theories though :P

  • ohh my this is awesome, i have no words... oh wait a sec just one, "perfect"!!!!

  • sounds so erie and mysterious, Hans Zimmer is THE GOD PARTICLE!

  • This movie perhaps has one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard. I love this movie. It's such a good story.

  • this song just makes me want to jump out of my skin and dance around in my un-skinned body. but when the music goes soft it reminds me of how i will always have to go back into my skin like a turtle and its shell. when this music is played during the movie, i began to cry.............tears of joy rather than sadness. this song is on my I-pod and i have listened to it 496 times because it takes me to another world altogether. goodnight............or is it goodmorning? or good afternoon?! =O

  • @riderfan39 i compltely agree with you. =O i love listening to these to feel like i have escaped...=o good comment

  • I remember in the movie 0:41-1:03 was the most suspenseful part of that scene. When they're looking for the Cardinal that is going to be branded as Air. Very good!

  • o my god.

i like it i like it I LIKE IT!

  • 0:45 on....wow....epic

  • best 1:05 minutes of all soundtracks :XD

  • This theme just wows me. I listen to this in my room and try to relive the excitement :D I saw some major differences between the film and the book too but some parts may not translate as well as you think, making things unnecessarily complicated. I didn't like how they left Kohler out either, and how everything is explained in an unnaturally orderly fashion later, but still... AWESOME MOVIE. So much better than the Da Vinci code.

  • Great score.

It so much represents the devine, the battle between good and evil. Science or religion, or science and religion? That's the question.

  • I can't belive they left Kohler out of the film - in many ways I found him one of the best charachters in the book. Does anyone know if there was a specific reason for his omission?

  • i read the book long time ago, who was kohler in the book ?

  • Kohler was the man in charge of CERN. He called in Langdon when one of the CERN scientists (the one who created the antimatter) was found dead with 'Illuminati' branded across his chest. He reappears at the end of the book, turning up at the Vatican in an attempt to make the Camerlengo confess. Kohler despises religion and everyone thinks he's an Illuminatus until about the last 20 pages. That's his history in 430 charachters!
