The problem isn't Reed, it's the producers of this program. They invited an infamous alcoholic onto a show that not many people would watch if there wasn't a blathering drunk rolling around the set and they provided him with multiple bottles of champagne. Did you see anyone else helping themselves to a glass? Reed wasn't interrupting anything. He was the sad clown in a three ring circus disguised as high-minded television.
