this game (starting with ofp from bis/codemasters) is the best military game ever made imo, anybody that has a knock against the graphics or whatever obviously never played the original and just wouldnt know what this game is about. [aces] nasf dk shakey tigerstyle. the immersion of this game is unreal more than the best console shooters, ofp ftw.

But as far as I know it's not for sale. Its an enhanced version of ARMA1 used for training in many western army's. So it's pretty hardcore XD But ofcourse you could always get your copy in a less legal way...

Jup, about the same price as software like 3dS Max and photoshop. Also software that is not meant to be used by normal customers.

But what I mean is that it isn't a game you can just buy at any toystore. You have to get a license and stuff.

I think its like 2 grand maybe a little less. The amount of money is just not worth some new features and a dated engine.

Hi I spent £340 including shipping for the Personal edition, which includes all VBS2 content but the user keys are different to those that paid alot more, the only differences really are development rights and some entitlements plus some user content doesnt work due to the difference in versions, however if you intend to use VBS2 as a "enhanced" armed assault with new features then the personal edition will serve you well, google for VBS2 go to the contact -> offices page and email sales team
