It is isn't it?  I didn't take to it 100% at first, but it has taken a few days and I love almost every song!

I felt that way at the start as well, but it was like an onion for me. Many layers, a little U2 here, a little Jimmy Eat World, a little Stars (the band). It's certainly more of a pop album though, like their earlier records. I would have liked a few more rockers, but they've certainly written their fair share of ROCK songs and hits to attract you to a concert. Just my perspective
