  • 29:30 sun activity graph ends at 1975. Lying sons of bitches. Quote from paper they referenced:

"They find that after 1975 there is an increasingly large gap between temperature predictions based on the length of the solar cycle (dotted line in Figure 1) and observed temperature (solid line in Figure 1). These findings appear to be in line with the conclusions of others such as Lean and Rind (1998), who believe that most of the warming since 1975 is human induced."

  • what up ENGL104?

  • @odstderek not too much, whats up with you?

  • As man has acquired more tools to increase his knowledge; a great many of these people have gotten dumber or have a tendency towards hysteria. Thank goodness people like those in this video exist to counter the pure craziness of the rest.

  • how is paying carbon tax saving the forests? meanwhile the gov goes round waging war on everyone. God waking people up is gonna be difficult isnt it. YOU HAVE BEEN CONDITIONED. through fear.

  • its a scam so there can be a global tax. conspiracy theorists like us have known about it for years. wake up!

  • Helping the environment is not a bad thing, we should be doing it more. Why do people deny climate change so much, if all it says is 'We need to be better towards the environment'. I'll watch this another time, though.

  • Sure, maybe it's not a big hoax. Maybe people are NOT making money from selling electric cars, getting funding for doing something "important", and not getting money for getting in the newspaper because they said what every other scientist said. Maybe. But that does not bring up any evidence they gathered in the video. At all. If one hour 13 minutes and 33 seconds of evidence against global warming(which you did not watch probably) does not even discourage you, then please show proof.

  • @disquisition73 Yes Tamizushi!!!! In Western Australia we have a scientist called Barry Marshall who investigated stomach ulcers and sicknesses; he said he could find a cure and everyone laughed at him - he injected himself with the virus - and yes! He found the cure - nobody's laughing anymore! One scientist is all it takes!

  • lets pay taxes for al gore to shut the fuck up

  • @disquisition73 And I think caring about the Earth's environment is necessary to maintain liberty, peace and prosperity. We are certainly not going to help by denying what science has to say about the consequences of our acts.

  • The Koch Brother's own climatologists found global warming to be true and a result of human burning of fossil fuel and deforestation. GW is not a conspiracy, fuckwit

What's worse is the heat change we're seeing is only a small portion of how much the temp has gone up because much of it is sequestered by the ocean, where it has been destroying many ecosystems and plankton. If the plankton diminishes enough, so goes all that oxygen you need to breathe in order to say the stupid shit that you say.

  • People who dont believe global warming = bronze-age minds that still believe clouds are the dust swept by God's feet, lightning and thunder is God's voice, earthquakes are God's furry, rainbows are God's way of showing humans he loves them, ect. Basically, they think God controls the weather and that Earth is infallible to the laws of chemistry. It is a fact that Co2 reflects IR light back towards the surface, it is a fact humans are increasing Co2. Global temp increases in proportion to Co2

  • @confettibrains 1) Co2 doesn't 'reflect' IR; it absorbs and re-releases it as energy. Get it right.

    2) 7% of the Co2 released is due to man. The rest is due to vulcanoes, animals, decaying plants, corals and so on. 95% of our green house gases is water vapor, which is also a much more comprehensive absorber of energy.

    3) Co2 emission increases in proportion to global temperature. Thus it is not a fact that humans are increasing Co2.

  • @disquisition73 Would you also say that you don't care if someone lock you in your house and then burn it down because you don't worship it? You know, I wouldn't care if we polluted the moon for example because nobody lives there but considering that real human beings are gonna have to deal with the consequences of polluting the earth, I see that as a problem. BTW, how is screwing up the climate for everyone NOT initiating force on others?

  • @disquisition73

I can play this game too:

Omg it's a big conspiracy between thousands of scientists and every single renown scientific organisations in the world to create a global socialist government and eat babies and stuff. Now let's do what shell say keep paying more for the gas they sell you.

Seriously is it really that hard to believe than releasing an industrial amount of gas for centuries can eventually have an impact on the environment?

  • John Christy is a real climate scientist FINALLY!

If you really wanna know what climatologists think of global warming read the survey from William R. L. Anderegga, James W. Prallb, Jacob Haroldc and Stephen H. Schneidera

Out of 1,372 climate researchers, 97–98% recognize the truth of global warming. So yeah, I guess if you can find some of 2-3% dissidents you can make a movie with several experts and say "See? All scientists disagree". This video is misinformation.

  • There is no "department of climatology" at the university of Winnipeg. Timothy Ball worked for the deparment of Geography as you can see on their website

Nir Shaviv is a known climate skeptic although his hypothesis that global warming is caused by the sun since the sun's activity has been flat for the last 25 years while the earth is still warming. Lockwood and Claus Froehlich made a paper on that.

Ian Clark is a geologist and has never published a peer reviewed paper on global warming

  • Not believing in climate change does NOT make you anti environment.

  • @MikkkkyB Indeed. Not believing in climate change makes you ignorant.

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • Its not just a case of C02. We have cut down such large areas of forest, drained so many wetlands, created monocultures where once there was diversity. All this activity over such a short period of time obviously affects the ability of the planet to maintain a stable climate and amplifies whatever else might or might not have been happening naturally

  • @wildshow We should definitely take care of the environment, and we should protect forests and natural resources.

However, doesn't it anger you that our very ethos are being taken advantage of? They use environmentalism as a tool for propaganda. We need to spend the energy we do worrying about CO2 and spend it on deforestation and water pollution and things that are ACTUALLY happening.

  • Love this documentary! thanks for informing me

  • This film was brought to you by Royal Dutch Shell, Exxon Mobil, BP Plc, Saudi Aramco and Total S.A.

We hope you enjoy it and believe in every lie.

  • @ffafii Right and that's why this documentary clearly makes the case that burning coal and oil is not something that causes benefits. It is making the case that CO2 doesn't cause global warming (global warming causes CO2), that the sun plays a larger role in our climate cycles, and then goes on to say that the environmental movement is causing a lot of impact in the developing world due to imposed regulations from developed countries. It's up to you to weigh the rest.

  • I guarantee you that with electricity quality of life in nearly every conceivable way is improved.

  • No where does this video suggest that survival depends upon electricity. That is absurd. But let me ask you, how would your life be right now without it? Without electricity we would all be living the life of native American Indians. Not that there is anything wrong with that but the idea that the 7 billion people that are here are going to revert back to medieval times just isnt going to happen.

  • Love this stuff! Hurrah we will win!

  • Global atmospheric temperatures have only been measured since 1979 with the advent of satellite data, so we only have an accurate record of 'global' temperatures for a few short decades. The lower troposphere temperatures in December 2011 are a mere 0.13 degrees C above the 1980 temperature record and are in decline. It is expected by the end of January, and at the most March 2012, that the global temperature will be "BELOW' the temperature found in 1980, three decades ago.

  • I think its ironic that denialists claim to be the open minded minority but dont even check sources for this kind of stuff. I watch all of denialist vids because I think maybe I will change my mind but then read all the denialists screaming that everyone else is a sheeple.

  • @twizelby

dude you really think that something that constitutes 380 parts in a million in the atmosphere is the main reason for global warming? And you choose to ignore the primary source of ALL the heat that we receive(the sun)? Now that's what I call denial.

  • @siddharthjoshi91 the sun hasn't increased its output of heat as indicated by the solar irradiance data

  • @siddharthjoshi91 The present concentration of co2 ppm is the highest during the last 650,000 years and probably during the last 20 million years. since the industrial revolution the the c02 level has risen about (probably over) 101 ppm. seemingly small changes can drastically change the contents of something. I use this ex a lot and you may have heard it already so my appologies if you have. would you drink water that had 100 ppm of arsenic?

  • @siddharthjoshi91 lastly I would advise you if you are curious enough to begin researching oceanic acidification and also the effect of loss of polar ice and oceanic convection (the main way nutrients are moved through the ocean).

  • Corporations have much more to lose than climate scientists in the debate.

  • thanks for sharing! great to watch and tells me i was always right about the panic maker: globalwarming

  • 4'05. "This might not be a problem". I say that to myself every day. It doesn't help. Because, what if I had said, "This MIGHT be a problem". But instead, I said, "This might not be a problem". And I felt so sore about all these scientists wallowing in lavish funding, and Al Gor's huge mansion. This might not be a problem...

  • GROW HEMP! DEMAND THE END TO TOXIC BUSINESSES!

  • i take this at face value, and wont offer a direct argument. and i don't agree with trying to stop a nation from using it's own resources to produce energy, or even buying those resources from another. but i do believe that all emissions should be captured, not because of global warming (although i will also admit that i believe that they contribute) but because you never know who you can sell them to.

  • Pollution and poisoning our planet is serious but climate change is mostly due to the sun activities

  • @MySpiritWarrior watch?v=N2B34sO7HPM&feature=channel_video_title

Go learn something about global warming before uttering such nonsense. 19 clips showing clear cut evidence of anthropomorphic climate change.

  • I don't know which side is worse: The misinformed alarmists who think a carbon tax is a solution, or the deniers who spread lies. Both are damaging.

So far, the evidence points tremendously that the Earth is warming, and we can see past climate changes have almost always been caused by changes in Earth's orbit called Milankovitch cycles. Despite what you've been told, the Sun has NEVER EVER been responsible for climate change.

We need to accept we're causing this, but NOT OVER-REACT!

  • @chronDiggity wow... the sun has never ever caused climate change? .... wow... I can't believe people like you even exist. Global climate change is a natural thing. It has been happening for millions of years. On top of that the science, REAL science, proves that we are not even CLOSE to being the cause. We need to ADAPT to climate change, anything else is a waste of time and money.

  • @LyricalRockGoddess

Yes, people who say correct things exist. Then there's you.

Time for you to learn: We can measure with great accuracy the activity of the Sun going back thousands of years. We do this by measuring beryllium-10 in ice cores. Beryllium-10 levels are affected by cosmic rays, and the magnetic field. About 40,000 years ago, the field weakened, and we see a spike in beryllium-10. We see no related increase in temperature.

So no, the sun does not cause climate change.

  • @LyricalRockGoddess

<3 Intelligent women. The world needs more.

I agree with everything you said, Mrs.Lady.

  • You are right on climate change is a natural thing, and that the sun, the milankotivch cycles have a HUGE role to play in the climate on Earth. But that's not what's in play here. Those natural causes of climate change occur in hundreds and thousands of years, and don't take 30 years!! It's not the climate change that's concerning (cause it's natural), it's the speed at which it's changing, and that humans do play a HUGE role in.

  • @LyricalRockGoddess Only a retard would argue that the sun has never changed the climate.

The fact remains: at 29:30 in this movie, the liars who made it omitted the sun activity graph after 1975. The question is why.

  • watch THE DENIAL MACHINE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pudding, you are an idiot. If you believe Al Gore you have shit for brains. You don't deserve to have an opinion.

  • Dis shit IS Fuckin bull shit man is resposible Fuck everyone who thinks otherwise and their family

  • Google Solarchords com. here is a detailed study of the affect of Gravity upon the tracks of the Sun, Earth, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus & Neptune, about the Barycentre of the Solar System, discovering that the Sun’s orbit precisely matches the production of Sunspots via Acceleration changes & Climate Variation via Earth/Sun distance changes, in a closely linked & highly repetitive sequence, showing that Sunspots do not cause Climate Change but explaining why there is a close pattern match.

  • @AlbertaGamer Parsing the facts and purposefully leaving out huge sections of information relevant to the argument in an attempt to narrow a focus of study to service your own agenda is, in fact, shameful. If you have the ability to put a little time and effort into doing your own research, as opposed to blinding following someone else's polemical diatribe, for the sake of my children I would humbly ask that you do so, and take a long, hard look at what is happening to the world around you.

  • Normally I find this sort of non sequitur logic amusing, but this is dangerous thinking. This doc seems to really enjoy hearing itself make its case for how climate is always changing and how since time immemorial, the earth has simply gone on doing what it does, getting hotter, getting colder, with no help from any of us.

The problem is that our C02 production is a very small part of what we are doing to this planet. To try and make people believe what this doc would have you do is shameful.

  • @C2KstudiosTube - I didn't realize that telling the truth was shameful.

  • of course in 1974, the British Brainwashing Corporation started the Co2 bullshit

  • Really great documentary!!

  • If human have nothing to do with CO2 increase, I assume that gas will just burn by themselves somehow naturally. That's why they remain undisturbed for millions of years.... Yeaaaaaa,.......

  • What's the deal with tacking all of this infowars and other conspiracy theory bullshit on to what was a mainstream Channel 4 (UK) documentary?

  • not only is co2 plant food but also by boosting soil carbon levels it'll increase the nutrient supply to plants

  • CO2 is good, there are farmers that actually spray CO2 on their plants. Why? Because it makes them grow so much faster.

The extra CO2 wont hurt us any because CO2 is in parts per MILLION and oxygen is measured in... parts per 10... (16% of the atmosphere is Oxygen)

  • too much co2, plant some trees you cunts, problem solved.

    shut up, plant trees

  • I show Gore's 'documentary' & this,GGW Swindle, in my sophomore biology classroom. Then students must create a 3-5 minute speech after they have researched a topic, using peer reviewed sources to support an opinion they have formed on that topic. My students have always been confused by Gore's erratic narrative. I let them form their own opinions. And they overwhelmingly don't buy the AGW garbage.

  • @TheBadger40

Wow. I do believe you are the worst teacher in the world, that is of course if your little story isn't completely made up.

You take two shitty documentaries filled with inaccuracies, and force your students to decide which propaganda film convinced them most?

I'm pretty sure your level of contempt for genuine intelligent thought should in the very least land you in the unemployment line. I'm absolutely disgusted in what you said to the point that I call bullshit on it.

  • @chronDiggity Good for you! It's interesting how you can assess my abilities based on a comment on YouTube. Obviously, you are so emotionally invested in this topic you feel the need to insult strangers on the Internet without adding anything of value. Notice, I did not not ask them to form an opinion based upon the two films. I clearly said something different: "after they have researched a topic, using peer reviewed sources to support an opinion they have formed on that topic"

  • @TheBadger40

You may as well show them the star wars movies and tell them to write a paper on the moon landing.

I stand by my statement, you are the worst teacher in the world. "And they overwhelmingly don't buy the AGW garbage" < Because you are BEYOND A DOUBT teaching the concepts to them from a bias standpoint.

You're right about one thing at least, bozo, I'm emotionally invested invested in this topic enough to insult MORONS LIKE YOU. You think I WANT AGW to be real???

  • this should be a required viewing

  • Oh, while your at it Gore, why don't you give your Nobel prize to Irena Sendler who had more guts in her pinky toe than you and all your mansions, SUV's, and mistresses combined.

  • Someone please strap Al Gore down to a chair, tape his eyeballs open and force him to watch this.

  • Climate variation is natural, yes, however, in this technological age, we must take into account that the climate is being hijacked for political, monetary and military gain.

  • Of course its bullshit! I remember back in middle school our science teacher telling us the ice on Himalaya mountains would be all melted by now creating flooding all over India etc..bullshit. It just fraud science, not real science. I love my SUV and will continue to drive it, nothing like a nice shiny red Escalade. Go fuck yourself you climate pussies.

  • @MrIntangibleasset im 16, when i grow up im still gonna be driving my nice big metal 1970 chevelle ss with a nice big gas drinking 454 engine, everyone else can drive there pussy electric cars, oh and just try not to crash into me, back then in the old days they knew how to make there cars nice and strong :)

  • @mohiahmed1 I weep for the future

  • @motty32 good

  • You know I have to agree with these guys, IMO don't believe that CO2 is the cause and this documentary helped me find a suitable reason for it but one good thing that could come out of it is the possible shift to other forms of fuel that are "cleaner" or possibly more economical frankly I think the internal combustion engine is quite antiquated and is in need for a better replacement dont you think? Also I wish more funding was dedicated to space exploration or medicine than this crap...

  • Don't fall for this propaganda. So many distortions, misrepresentations and lie-by-omissions, that I can only conclude it was a quite deliberate and wilful attempt to mislead.

  • @Anteater22 It's ALL propoganda, each paper, each documentary, each report and review has an agenda. It's up to you, me and everyone else (if they truly have any self-respect) to listen and read as much as we can and form our own opinions. Ostracising one side of the debate, refusing to listen to one side and dismissing out of hand one side just shows a persons limitations and lack of understanding of the issue(s).

  • @bies21 I listened to and watched the whole thing. It was propaganda. It's just the same old talking points that have been around for years, and have been dealt with time and again. I'd go so far as to say that they probably know full well that they're misrepresenting the truth.

  • Full of lies.

    Debunked in:

Complaint to Ofcom Regarding “The Great Global Warming Swindle”

The Big Swindle Movie by greenman3610 here in the tube.

  • @EgalSust i have looked at the complaints. However, i still think this documentary is more credible in proving anthropogenic climate change is a lie with the information that is not flawed vs "an inconvenient truth" which is proven to have 35! scientific flaws in it: scienceandpublicpolicy . org / monckton/goreerrors.html

  • Can someone tell me the soundtrack list? :D

  • 20:19 boom...

  • HAHA at the end the bloke says 'dispatches and how green are our politiians?' doesnt that just contridict what this documentary was advocating?

  • ever heard of a battery? the more solar panels you use, the more energy you will receive, any excess not used at the moment is stored in a battery. I don't know why the roof of our cars are not made of a solar panels, a wind turbine as the antenna, lol, i mean get creative, there are always ways of obtaining the free energy that we waste either from the sun or back emf, etc.

  • @TruthKnowledgeDOTcom ... and of course you do not have a car, your house/apt is "green powered" etc.

  • what do plants breathe? carbon dioxide. what do they give us? Oxygen. GO GREEN. Eat your fruits and veggies and legalize hemp! Hemp for medicine (cancer cure), hemp for fuel, hemp for food, hemp instead of plastic (oil) with BPA that causes cancer to package your food.

  • Comment removed

  • I disagree. This documentary is full of bullshit facts and manipulations. Talking about climate in terms of 10 50 or 1000 years is nothing. Ice core samples give you a co2 record over 400,000 years. The highest we'd seen it up until now is 290ppm. Now its 390ppm and rising.

Yes of course there is profit to be made in everything! It is a capitalist society that is sending you this information, someone found a way to profit. It doesn't mean that you should give the entire concept the middle finge

  • @Method9 have you noticed that CO2 and temperature shown by "almost a president" were not right? not aligned properly? the whole "cause and effect" was distorted - it was a flat out lie - then Gore is a liar, or he was lied to - then he is a stupe (thanks God for saving US from another fool in the office) ... or you fast-forwarded that part?

  • @jeffz2010 Look I agree that CO2 hasn't consistently been the cause of temperature rising and falling. CO2 is not the only thing that affects temperature - there are so many other gases that trap heat too! You are arguing that CO2 does not trap heat, and that is simply false. Currently our activities on this planet have spiked CO2 to a level about 35% higher than it has been in at least 400,000 years

  • @Method9 and that means what ?(with all due respect - nothing personal here) 35% seems like a lot by itself, but 35% out of next to nothing, is still next to nothing - check this page: geocraft.com/WVFossils/greenhouse_data.html - Plenty of sources there, if you do not believe their calc. - do them yourself. In a pill: A. we humans are responsible only for 6% out of that 35%, B. our 6% of CO2 is responsible for some 0.6%!!! of global warming (given water vapour). Do the math!

  • @jeffz2010 35% is in reference to our atmosphere now having 390ppm of CO2 when the highest it has been in the last 400,000 years is 290ppm, at its utmost peak. Saying that emitting CO2 doesn't heat up the world because Gore profits from it isn't a valid argument.

  • @Method9 you are missing the point! even 100% out of next to nothing is next to nothing. We are talking about fraction of a percent we are responsible for. If temperature would go up by .. say ... 10 degrees (not very likely), we - humans - would be responsible for less than one-tenth! of one degree - please do the math ... do not repeat something someone told you without trying to understand it in practical terms ... by doing that you are insulting your own intellect!

  • I don't get it. shit is going into the sky.. its doing something right? solar wind hydro we gotta change to that and then the world will be better

  • Wow, what a disappointment. First they fail to mention that even if global warming is not co2 induced or a imminent threat, we still live under global system based on the use of finite resources over which wars are being fought to secure. Then total propaganda depicting 'African' poverty as being a result of no access to electricity. Poverty has nothing to do with electricity, but among many things, access to education and the legacy of oppressive regimes including the current global one.

  • @jeffz2010 I'm not sure if I believe in 'global warming', hence why i was interested in this documentary and disapointed to see such propaganda. But i do believe there are thousands of people dying each day as a result of this unfair system. Poverty doesn't have anything to do with electricity, the economy that uses electricity does. Yes, life is easier with electricity. But I don't care about my little job, my little life, I care about the health of this planet and all its inhabitants.

  • @thebohemianswan You are advocating for life in a state of nature, which history has already shown to be short nasty & brutish. You have no clue what you are talking about nor the implications of your ideology.

  • @jaeLAX23 I'm advocating for a life where we use the incredible technologies available to us to live more in harmony with nature. Just because i don't agree with the current system's fossil fuel economy doesn't mean I am anti-technology. Quite the opposite. I want to move forward, not backwards.

  • @thebohemianswan What's wrong w/ fossil fuels? Don't tell me CO2. Plants breath it and make exhale O2. Plants also grow faster & larger when more CO2 is present. Renewable energy won't be mainstream till atleast 2030. That's just the way it is. To force people to use more expensive forms of energy would impoverish them.

Not that I'm against alternative energy, I advocate them but only if they can be competitive. Check out energyfromthorium(dot)com, this tech will be king in the future.

  • @jaeLAX23 What's wrong with fossil fuels?! They are a finite resource. There are wars being waged to secure them. People are dying. Countries are losing their sovereignty. And it isn't necessary. It is only because the global economy is based on them. We have the technology available now, all that is lacking is political will. And regardless of the global warming question, you cannot deny the damage the pollution they cause is doing to our natural ecosystem. Didn't mention Co2, Happy? ;-)

  • @thebohemianswan Were at war in a grander scheme for one world govmnt and control of all natural resources by the leviathan. If your not aware of this I suggest you wake up soon. A reserve was recently found on the west coast US and there is also a reserve around Ohio. Another reserve was found off the coast of brazil as well as venezuela.

Also, CO2 + H2 -> methanol + ethanol. Fossil fuels are thus sustainable. The energy require to catalyze the rxn can be derived from solar or nuclear.

  • @thebohemianswan "We have the technology available now, all that is lacking is political will."

I whole heartedly agree w/ you.

"And regardless of the global warming question"

Warming is not an issue, but ocean pH can be an issue. That issue, however is about 100yrs away. If governments would get out of the UN then we could tackle this issue easily by just planting more oceanic plants, instead of doing expensive schemes like algae farming on land (it should be done in native enviroment).

  • @thebohemianswan "you cannot deny the damage the pollution they cause is doing to our natural ecosystem"

The damage is mainly caused by Boron from desalinating water w/ coal. All that's needed is too desalinate water w/ solar power instead, but this approach is still too immature, thus very expensive.

Also, just like agriculture increased abundance on land, AQUACULTURE can do so for the ocean as well. In the process making more food. But again, countries need to pull out of UN to do this.

  • @thebohemianswan Excuse me, electricity has everything to do with poverty, this is basic Economics. Three basic needs to survive: Food, Water, Shelter. You use electricity to cook your food more efficiently. Natural Resources are necessary to fuel technologies which make agriculture possible. W/o electricity, water cant be filtered on local & regional levels. Your economy cannot grow w/o electricity, and children have limited to education w/o electricity. You have no idea what your talking about

  • @MrTruthVibrations You're only thinking within the limited framework of our current dysfunctional global economy. I've spent the last 3 years working in poverty ravaged Western Uganda. The best developed communities here (in terms of health and wellbeing, NOT $) do not have electricity, but are independent and sustainable communities that are NOT dependent on the larger economic system that RAPES them... and wants to sell them electricity. Survival is not dependent on electricity, the system is.

  • @thebohemianswan My family lived for 14 years without electricity or running water in New Zealand, I'm glad we did it and would do it again.

  • @RoyStewart

I wish you would do it again, it would stop you from being able to post ridiculous statements on the internet!

Turn that computer off you are warming up the planet, shame on you....!!!...LOL

  • @thebohemianswan You cannot deny the fact that access to electricity improves society. It leads to better facilities and well being. Africa doesn't need to rely on corporations but rather just let them decide what they want to do with their resources.

  • @thebohemianswan Throw your computer in the bin then, since you don't like electricity. I don't want you on the internet, so that is a good thing.

  • @god0fgod

Who the hell said he didn't like electricity? He's obviously just making the point that it's not as necessary as people think, and he gave an example of the types of people who don't need it.

  • @thebohemianswan Poverty in Uganda? What does that have to do with the infinite variables that contribute to our climate. Liberal Arts graduates believe they have the right to contribute to the 'climate change' discussion. If I was to have heart surgery, the average guy on the street should not have a say in how it will be performed. The scientific method can only work if it is not circumvented by politics, religion or the court of public opinion. Sorry...science is not a democracy.

  • @565r5b1rgtbr so are you a politician? if not dont ever talk about politics again

  • @thebohemianswan "Survival is not dependent on electricity" agree

  • ummm... Electricity has nothing to do with survival. It has to do with quality of life. And if you want to side-step the "larger economic system" why not let them drill for their own oil and burn their own coal. By the way, $ directly affects health and wellbeing.

  • Needs MORE views!!!! Share with All Friends, accomplices, colleagues, passerby's, and so on!!! The Carbon Tax is a scheme as well as many other NWO Plots!!! What Joke!!! WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Whoever wrote the Henny Penny 'the sky is falling' story was a fukn genius.

  • only 60k views, this should have millions

  • @TechHost you are right, many more should --- but how many deeply religious ppl watch movies about evolution? not many. Global warming is already a cult. And where "gods" come in, reason dies quickly.

  • @jeffz2010 you can believe in evolution and God but I agree on everything else

  • @TechHost not many like are out there - OR - your type is way too quiet, as a result, all ppl of God are branded with a "hickish redneck" seal - you have to speak up to show, that one does not have to stupid , or backward to believe - religion is a powerful life's companion (my mother is a good example) - it propels you when you stall, it lifts you when you are down, it comforts you, when you are afraid BUT religion in hands of "stupes" always amounts to blood and suffering - all the best to you

  • @jeffz2010 There is violence caused by religion but it's a double edged sword, violence has been stopped by religion too. As for my beliefs on religion, I take more of a William Lane Craig stance. Religion is a very topic in which both sides have good points

  • 1:06:05 It's called a chimney!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TacticalCitySlicker Exactly!!! and most villages do have them, if not a little communtity awareness raising on how to build houses to better improve help would do the trick for future generations!

  • @Tubbleberry sounds like an awesome teacher!!!

  • Really? These morons are focused on Cow Farts, while allowing corporations to poison the water ways Google: fracking. Google: Koch Brothers Exposed. Funny how this stuff is ignored and I won't be surprised if corporate farmers don't end up paying a dime. No, wait, I will be shocked if any major US Corporation DOES pay a dime. So many organic farmers are being targeted by Monsanto, et. al. I don't trust a word out of the mouth of a soul who stands to get $ from others. Must do our homework.

  • @BilkedToTheBrink yes do the homework ... if you have it your way a couple billion of people (or more) should die as there is not enough food for them without GMO - having said that, how do you know you will be among these remaining alive - GMO (and green revolution) allowed to more people to enjoy life - so what you are saying is that these people have no right to live ... so you can enjoy organic food? and you call yourself human?

  • Comment removed

  • @jeffz2010 You've missed the point!!! You may be right about GMO, or you may not. Jury is still out. Stop calling ppl who may disagree less than human,as it only demonstrates that you inject a lot of emotion in an area that is widely unknown. You can't know what scientists don't, so let's not have some heated layman's argument in leiu of knowledge. Follow the money. Note: they scare when they can, if it sways opinion. Nothing wrong with a little, no LOT of research. See: The Shock Doctrine

  • Stop thinking that global warming's fake so that you can continue wasting stuff

  • @DoraTheDino if thats our reason for believeing its fake, whats your reason for believeing its true?

  • @rigatony019 Basic science? Basic statistics? Rising sea levels, rising temperatures at abnormal levels. All the bullshit in this video has absolutely no substance in them if you bothered to research it.

  • @DoraTheDino lol. You all are just like little kids with your eyes slammed shut and your fingers in your ears screaming "lalala I can't hear you!" They all say they get no money from big oil or any other corporation and you still think they're agenda is wastefulness. I hope the koolaid tastes good.

  • @rigatony019 Aren't you the one being the little kid? You refuse to look at the facts, that sea levels are rising (people having to move from low-lying islands as proof), that temperatures are rising (proved by god damn thermometers), that weather patterns and climates are screwing up (proven by how it is fucked up when in times that are supposed to be warm it still feels like winter). You are the pathetic one lying to yourself, refusing to listen

  • @rigatony019 And why would "big oil corporations" be paying those that say global warming is real? Because of global warming, they in fact have to spend MORE MONEY to become more environmentally friendly due to regulations by various countries. Smart move to pay money so that more money has to spent? You don't even know what you are talking about. And it is pathetic looking at how you listen without verifying the truth. And by truth it is not the hearsay you get from rubbish videos like this.

  • haha the people in THIS video say they aren't getting paid! Like I said, fingers in ears haha! But no, I'm not the child because I've actually seen many articles, documentaries and debates on both sides of the issue. You can talk about you sea levels and temperature and but the fact remains that the earth is cyclical regardless of mankind. I find it humorous that you think this is hearsay but an inconvenient truth is truth. Al gore is a hypocritical liar who doesn't take his own advice

  • @rigatony019 Just because they SAY they are not getting paid doesn't mean it is the truth you dumbass. Apparently you have no read enough "articles, documentaries and debates" since if you had done so, you would know that despite the earth being cyclical in its changes, the RATE at which it is happening is abnormal. Cycle is supposed to be millions of years, not one century. It is sad that you are coming up with this cyclical rebuttal since it has already been rebutted countless of times.

  • @DoraTheDino "rebutted" like you said, just cause they SAY its true doesn't mean it is... believe whatever the lobbyists tell you, that's your perogative. Ill use common sense and pass on the koolaid thanks.

  • @rigatony019 Fucking hell why are you so stubborn. I have never said I derived the idea of global warming from "lobbyists". Hell I've never listened to words your so-called lobbyists say. I've never thought it was true because the lobbyists say so. I know its true because I witness the effects with my very own eyes, the "cyclical effect" happening at very abnormal rates, low-lying islands becoming impossible to live in and etc.

  • @rigatony019 Alright, common sense. Let's look at facts then, not care about what people say. Truth: rising sea levels. (proved by low-lying islands becoming inhabitable) Truth: Weather patterns and climates going haywire (seen everywhere across the globe) Truth: temperatures rising at abnormal rates. Truth: Cyclical effect is supposed to take place over millions of years, not 2 centuries. Now what do you have to say?

  • @DoraTheDino haha you didn't HAVE to tell me you listened to lobbyists. Its just that obvious. Al gore is a damn lobbyist. If al gore even believed his own hype he wouldn't. Use up hundreds of time for more fuel and electricity than an average american. You are one hopeless lost soul.

  • @rigatony019 I said I NEVER listened to lobbyists. Just answer the facts: "Truth: rising sea levels. (proved by low-lying islands becoming inhabitable) Truth: Weather patterns and climates going haywire (seen everywhere across the globe) Truth: temperatures rising at abnormal rates. Truth: Cyclical effect is supposed to take place over millions of years, not 2 centuries." Now what do you have to say, since you have read both sides of the story. PS. I don't give a damn about al gore

  • @DoraTheDino well the thing is, you DO listen to lobbyists because you're here arguing that global warming is a fact. There's no other way around it. I guess before I speculate on why that may be it would be beneficial for you to tell me why sea levels are changing... co2? Please for the love of god don't say co2. You don't give a damn about al gore? He's the prophet of your religion. That's like saying I'm a christian but I don't give a damn about jesus lol. Your indoctrination is humorous

  • @rigatony019 Arguing about global warming does not mean I listen to lobbyists. Why can't you get the fact that I NEVER listened to lobbyists. I study geography and I have seen first hand the effects of global warming and climate. Sea levels are changing because of rising temperatures melting the polar ice caps. I would think a person who have read both sides of the story would know. And CO2 is just part of the greenhouse gases. Methane is a big contributor too.

  • @DoraTheDino it does mean that. Sorry but it does. Plain and simple. If you thought for yourself you wouldn't be so... well you wouldn't have a koolaid mustache. Methane like from every living creature? Seriously you guys crack me up. Why don't we get corks for our butts and then maybe the earth will cool down. There's a reason they changed the name from global warming to climate change... so everytime it changes they can say "see! I told you!"

  • @rigatony019 Fucking hell why are you so senseless? I've never derived the fact of global warming from Al Gore or any lobbyists. I derived it because I see it with my own eyes. It just showed again how much you don't know about global warming. One of the largest contributor of methane is cattle, not "every living creature", simply because of the number of cattle. There is obviously not as much methane as CO2 BUT methane is 4 times more effective at retaining heat, making it 4 times worse

  • @rigatony019 And if you think this is funny, you are clueless about global warming, and in fact, clueless about basic chemistry, contrary to your claim of having read both sides of the story. And it's not a name change you retard. Global warming (rise in global temperatures) and climate change (weather patterns and climates going haywire) are two effects of these greenhouse gases. Surprised at how little you know despite your claims. Stop defending the indefensible if you KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT.

  • it IS funny. like, REALLY funny. the fact that you think every person who says they dont believe in global warming is doing it simply so they can continue to be wasteful and that nobody in your camp has ANYTHING to gain from policy changes and green technology is well beyond humorous. you live in a fantasy world. the funniest part of this conversation however is the use of your super scientific term "haywire" i lol at that everytime. "sea levels! temperatures! weather gone haywire!" classic.

  • @rigatony019 Wow. Funny? Obviously you have not seen/felt the effects. Well, I have. And it's pathetic little pricks like you that are causing it. People on low-lying islands now without their homes. You are the one living in a bubble and how the fuck can you be laughing at something that is happening for real? Why the persistence for "scientific terms"? There is proof out there. It is just that you don't wish to see it. Tell your bullshit to those affected and I'm sure they won't just be angry

  • yea. Funny, Like, haha? Remember when you used to have a sense of humor before you drank the koolaid and turned into a vapid indoctrinated microcephallic? The reason its funny is because its not our fault and you actually think people on your side have nothing to gain from it. Its dowright hysterical. A lot of people are going to make a lot of money from this. Why the persistence for scientific terms!? Youre full of gut busters! you're the one who brought your psuedoscience into it!

  • @rigatony019 Look. I NEVER listened to lobbyists. Stop repeating that "I drank the koolaid". Not our fault? Are we going over this again? Rising sea levels/temperatures? I don't know where you live in, but where I am, the weather and climates' FUCKED. Read some news if you don't know about the fucked-up weathers/seasons. I don't give a shit what people 'have to gain from it'. Earth's fucked up so we have to stop fucking it up, simple as that, not give a shit about what people have to gain

  • okay, youre right. the earth is "fucked up." shit is "haywire". low-lying islands, sea level, temperature... other various buzzwords. youre also right that I should read more news even though as youve mentioned, just because someone says something, it isnt necessarily true. youre so right, we need to not worry about what people have to gain, well, unless they oppose us of course. Thanks for the insight. Heres your chance for the last enlightening word.... btw is that berry-blast or kickin kiwi?

  • @rigatony019 By reading more news, I was talking about finding out about the ridiculous seasons. Don't think anyone can make the shit up. And facts remain facts, earth remains fucked if its fucked, whether people have to gain from it or not, so why not look at facts? If you want to keep lying to yourself, thinking every else is deluded, fine. But it is sad ya know, sad little pricks like you who have no regard for things like this, and the ones facing the consequences are others. So fucking sad.
