All of the smaller coasters are like that. If you are in the front, then you are already down the hill by time you speed up. If you are in the back, you start going fast before you have even reached the top. That's why i like to sit in the back when i go on Big Thunder Mountain in Walt Disney World.

Gah...Evil mini-coaster...I was on a field trip there in 8th grade with my friends, and one of my friends decided we needed to go on it. Took forever to start the ride because they had to triple-check the seatbelts and everything (it was right around the time the guy fell off of Superman, I'm surprised this ride was even open), and we were almost too big to fit. Then once it was over, we got stuck. The bars wouldn't lift, and we almost missed the buses because it took them a while to get us out.
