@errfury it's called open hand. most drummers play closed hand, which is when the right hand crosses the left to play the hi-hat. ryan pope, a god, chose to do it the other way, and because of that, many of the drum parts by the band cannot be played by traditional drummers

OMG i miss them soo much..without these guys and weezer when they first came out like 18 years ago,.. Emo would have stayed underground. And one thing, FOB's not EMO. Well, maybe their lyrics, but they're pop-punk or alternative rock. They've influenced by emo bands, and (probably) hardcore punk bands (it's not seen on his actual music^^)
