Money doesn't make you happy. I just need to look at my parents, clawing each other apart to know this. But, money definitely makes life a lot easier. I grew up in a small town where most people were poor or working class. In some ways I wish I had had their more stable, loving upbringing but on the other hand, the fact that I had money did sort of make up for it. Slightly.
