Why on earth does it matter who did the most in WWII? Why does it matter who lost more men? There is no way you can say that they had nothing to do with the war Europe. Without the US invasion of France (Operation Market Garden, D-Day, ect) the world might be a very different place. I think that if Germany had not attacked Russia, they still would have lost because america had a shit load of resources, and was singlehandedly able to take out japan and assist in the fall of Germany. However, the war would have taken longer because the nazi's conquered half of continental Europe in six months, then dug in, and it took us 4 years to push them back.

You don't seem to know much about WW2; the russians lost that many people because they were ill equipped and their commanders sacrificed the soldiers like cattle being slaughtered.

Stop arguing about who was right or wrong. WW2 was awful. Soldiers do what their fellow countrymen ask of them. When you go to war it is your duty to win the fight and then treat your enemy with respect. The foreign soldier is not the enemy, the enemy is the country from whence he came.

The problem is.. From the European empires view, Russia / USSR is "far away" and didn't attack them while the Nazis were in the middle of west Europe and directly attacked France and the UK. Now, since history is written by the victorious, the Nazis earned the short end of the stick..
plus,they found their concentration camps and saw what they did - none ever visited an USSR Gulag so none cares. (If the USSR was allied to the nazis and lost the war, they'd be equally bad now)

What kind of music do you think matches large scale war? Slow sad songs? Sorry, but thats just not the case. Soldiers don't feel the depression until after their tour of duty is over. The best word to describe the feelings during combat is "anger".

Actually im sure most veterans would agree that this type of music perfectly portrays the feeling that all soldiers feel during combat and after seeing their best friends gunned down. Feeling of remorse, regret, anger, fear, and even thoughts of suicide (slitting wrists). You clearly know nothing about what true combat is like and the mental scars it leaves on those who witness it.

I think that if Germany had not attacked Russia, they still would have lost because america had a shit load of resources, and was singlehandedly able to take out japan and assist in the fall of Germany. However, the war would have taken longer because the nazi's conquered half of continental Europe in six months, then dug in, and it took us 4 years to push them back.

Stalin only cared about himself and the USSR even arrested american pilots that were shut down after bombing tokyo...So hell ye Pacific was saved by Americans

And than with the ww2 ... The USSR joining Allies and Japan joining Axis I think we could just say that that fight before the war was only finished with ww2 ending even if they saw no combat action like you said ;)

Sure Australians and New Zealanders were actually defending they are home country and their forces were more focused in the commonwealth and concentrating more forces in Africa.Ok the British Empire did some work in Burma but that was all to protect India from invasion. The Americans were the only ones who attacked Japaneseground

In my opininion the western allies should have gone and finished of Stalins regime after Germany fell, it would have saved many lives and there wouldnt have been Soviet occupation of eastern-europe.

Us army and arines where ill euquiped and ill trained in the earlier parts of the war. hellwhen Marines hit the beaches of guadlacanal they had old ww1 springfield rifles and the browning 1917. the only thing that has stsopped every invasion on russia was the winter not the people. if russia was lcoated more south and not up in the cold napoleon and the nazis would have kicked its ass.
