I love Moira Stuart but God she was frightening in the 80s when I was a boy and she would read the headlines out loud. I mean really loud and menacing. this was, after all, the cold war and whenever she mentioned 'Western Leaders' doing something or other I always thought she was telling us that in four minutes we'd be gonners. @jayceeehh, i remember exactly what u mean, but i only remember Moira from the late 80's and early 90's just after the soviet union fell. She had the perfect persona to deliver the news, stern and athoritive but not belittling, its an outrage they let her go she could still do the news now better than anyone else and she looks like she hasn't aged a day in over 20 years. She carries herself very, very well and from seeing her do HIGNFY she is very witty and has a great sense of humour.
