I've read about this type of foam cutter before but never knew that it could cut tapered wings. Do you know of a website that explains this in more details?
@gogilby no. he had to cut the bottom then reset machine then cut the top but that's an interesting idea. i have some theories on how to make one of those.
Hi Don, what are these tools called that you have? and can I ask, are they expensive, I would love to get into making my own aircraft and find your videos really intuitive, excellent :-)
@dazzy1975 if your any good at designing you could built your own but if not then it really depends on what style of cutter and where you get one. i build most of mine. started by just making them to mimic standard wood working tools like band saws planers ect.but replace the blade with a wire. the thought being if i could be done to wood then i could do it to foam. hope it helps.
