Mass Meditation (Session Three)

Luckily we just past Daylight Savings, so it's now at 6:30am for me. ^_^

Its good that you disagree with each other, the more perspectives the better. Thats what I was talking about in video response. I agree with both of you simultaniously, what a weird world we live in. Even though I'm Catholic..I believe humanities "Holy" message was interpreted differently each time it was given unto mankind. I believe that each religion whether it may be Mono or Poly, is a mere facet or figment of the whole divine message/purpose, Man received a message from father god, and over the thousand's of year's kept interpreting the message, each time it was given. This is so, because early man only knew so much, that the "Divine" message as a whole would be just to much to handle.

Now that's an idea straight from Romanticism, but one that I like very much. I think that our struggle towards the divine will one day give way to a greater truth, too. It's the same in science, whether you look at molecular biology or radio astronomy. It's all leaning towards a "one-ness", that hopefully one day will remedy the world of irreconcilable opposites that people think in these days. I'd love to carry on with this but I'm on the road this weekend. Cheers, frogger!

Hey frogger, no offense meant. I don't share all of Reece's views, but I admire him for the way he presents them, for his kindness and his willingness to share combined with his keenness on learning.

I was also raised a Catholic - but people like donnym just freak me out sometimes. But as we are of the same tribe (c; we both know these dogmatic narrowminded characters...

...And by knowing these character's we can warn people about them. They try to "Hold" of evil...meanwhile they speak about the evil their trying to hold back. In doing so they're unintentionally creating the void needed for these entities to seep through. Dogma to me is a coward's way of converting people, if he was a true Christian, he'd show love and compassion towards his fellow brother, instead of attempting to frighten.

On the contrary. People often choose to reject religion simply because it goes against their lifestyle and rather than change, they find it easier to point the finger at religion. This is not everyone. Everyone is different. I can't speak for other religions but Catholicism is above anything organized. It is for our our own happiness. It is a gift and a privilege. Not a commandment or rule. It is difficult to admit there is someone greater than yourself out there.  It's complete love.

It sounds as if you are the one who needs to some research. Priests do not have families because they have given their life solely to God. It is unfortunate that some people are righteous. This comes from fear of something different. I however, have only love and compassion for others. God loves unconditionally and his mercy knows no boundaries. Im pretty new to meditation, but I decided to join just to see if i could get a sense of what mass meditation is about. I got to about the.. third (?) chakra, and I actually started feeling kind of ill.. I had to stop meditating and just lie down.. Is that normal for beginners?

If you're totally new to this, then yes, it's certainly possible that the energy could overwhelm you and make you feel a little queasy. You can push through that feeling, though :)

oh, also I had this feeling the whole time like i was wearing glasses ( I don't wear glasses by the way). the feeling was so intense that a few times I checked my face to see if i was wearing my sunglasses and just forgot...not sure what was going on with that...

as soon as richard said to send out our love energy to each other I started having muscle spasms in my arms, then my feet and legs went totally numb, my hands got tingly and I saw this golden grid of light stretching like a net all the way around the world connecting us all. hey, any of you other lucid dreamers ever feel like you're becoming lucid to life? like you're waking up to the mother of all dreams....? or is that just me....hah! thanks again to richard and reece :)

This meditation was my deepest one so far. I felt heat that kept going up to each area as we focused on each chakra. I then felt excess energy? around my solar plexus.

What do both of those things mean?

in tai chi, it is believe the energy of the Earth penetrates us, upward, that is why we relax our legs, we kind of lean into it! It could have been the earth giving you some juice!

the excess energy could be that your solar plexus was over charged. And after the session it was releasing its excess. It's important to keep all the chakras balanced

you can always ground the energy if you feel you need to, just send it down to your base chakra

hey Reece and Rich and everyone else, that session was really really really really incredible! that was the best one that i've had since with all of you guys since we started doing this, but yeah i totally felt the all of the vibrations, and my heart was beating throughout my entire body with the vibrations and i started feeling numb around certain parts of my body and i saw the orange a little bit and the blue/purple i always see when i meditate,and i always seem to see eyes as well,and spasms

Yes thats what happened; It's ok though i still meditated during the time; Altough I started relaxing about 20 after. Namaste!!! this session was great..all sorts of feeling emotions, no clear cut visuals, they we're a bit choppy. lots of muscle spasms in the legs, and it almost felt like the legs and torso was contorting..ive felt this before... the only way to describe it was that i was trying to let go of my physical body but a part of me just wouldnt let go..very strange. actually ill probaly make a video response soon..good meditating.

interesting, this makes sense as the lower chakra's are very connected to our physical bodies. As we clear our energy pathways, sometimes short muscles spasms may occur.

reece, the session was great, i had the same yellow pulsating rings as you did, as well as heavy hand vibrations. If you didnt see, chris showed up by the end too. I would also urge everyone to at least meditate on their own every day if they arent next time. Other than that, enjoy your stay in my home state!

Unfortunately I kept getting interrupted with people walking in my room...but while the meditation lasted for me I experienced many orange flashes, almost like a strobe light effect. My body felt as if it were moving or experiencing vertigo, it was a neat feeling. I also saw these triangle-like shapes that were moving around and spinning. It was pretty cool.

Was fab as always guys. I saw so many amazing cosmic colours this time, all different shades especially when we did the waterfall part, they were all flowing into the ground. Also saw us all connected by yellow light floating around the top of a mountain at one point. I'm feeling more and more connected to you all each time. Love and light.

I felt very relaxed this session, disconnected with my body and could feel my conciouness expanding across the room. I also saw blood pouring out a womans mouth and a few other bad things. Near the end I started seeing through my eyes which was cool and the water was great as usual.

hmmm, i was having horrible lag issues... Anyway this one really felt good, although the ones i felt more intensely were the root and heart chakra. I felt like i was still grounded way after the meditation ended. However I almost didnt fell the sacral chakra at all... that disappointed me a little bit.
