i love how sneaky this was. he just caught those guys in that car with this simple camera lol. shouts out the license number, so it's recorded, and those guys in the car probably got a damn good talking to XD.
Yeah, usual passengers full of booze and you're the nominated driver (sober) and you're trying desperately to get back home without one of your passengers hanging out of the door, standing in the sunroof (e.g. Titanic), pulling up the handbrake, engaging in a brawl with fellow passengers, throwing stuff at passers by etc. Please post the result of your contact with the Police. My cameras are going out on the roads again soon.

Re this vt -- I'd agree the driver gave you lots of room, but s/he is still responsible for the behaviour of passengers -- judging by some of the "fun" driving vt's posted on YT, it's all probably done in jest, but without the understanding that such jokes can literally kill. IMHO the key is more and better education for all road users.
I'm sure experience of incidents like this explain why many people don't feel safe cycling in traffic. You even end up questioning whether it's sensible to ride a bicycle on a QUIET road. Oh well, the traffic jams will get longer, fuel will get more scarce and the planet will get more polluted, with would be cyclists now occupying more road space in their cars. A motoring own goal.
WannabeCPH & scumspeedy: Yes I filed a complaint with police this morning. Nothing happened before this car went by. At least the driver kept away. The drugged/drunk passenger is the problem.
Last month a mercedes speeded to undertake my truck through a bus stop, and then slowed down to around 30 (speed limit 50) and cruised down the boulevard. I tested my horn, and the driver put his head out shouting something incliding "fuckhoved" (hoved means head in danish). As he couln't concentrate on driving forward and yelling backwards at the same time, the car slowed down. Out cane a drug'd guy slamming my window and denting my door by slamming the mirror. Sure wish I had that on tape!
Key is to run a camera routinely but it's difficult to cover all angles - even more difficult no doubt if you're driving a truck. I try to run my camera on every ride. Many rides nothing happens and that's good. My experience is that far fewer problems occur when driving a large object. I used to drive a Land Rover > few problems, but on a bike you get abuse all the time.
I have found the spots that "often" offers filming opportunity, and besides it's harder to fall off a truck than a bike. We have the blind/death angles though, which are just where it would be good to film peoples faces as I pass them...

Cyclists increasingly face all kinds of abuse from drivers and vehicle occupants - this is just one example. Apart from vehicle-used-as-a-weapon bullying on the road (I'm bigger than you so get out of my way), objects are thrown out of vehicles, outstretched arms attempt to hit cyclist etc

I'd send the raw film to the police to look at and hope someone didn't just give a f about it but actually did something.
My guess is one of three: (not in priority)
1) you did something before the shot like yelling for nothing or showing the wrong finger.
2) they are on drugs
3) they are drunk
In all cases they don't even think with the ass, they don't think AT ALL.
