I love the African style guitar like the guys who played on Paul Simon's Graceland and Rhythm of the Saints albums and even Johnny Clegg's albums. It's good someone is giving tutorials on this style, I would love to learn.

Respect: please allow me to offer a few point that might help non-beginners.
Africa has many different styles of music.
This a progression common in Zimbabwe , but usually played in 6/8 time. Most African styles use thumb and index finger only.
A lot of different tunings are used to get the right sound. Try D G D G C D
Work out where the following notes fall on the fretboard:
G Bb C D F
Draw it up as a 12-fret pattern and explore
Try other time signatures.
