RL102 - 4/2 Basic Russian grammar lesson 4 part two

Victor......does Frank Carson ring any bells?, ie: "It's the way I tell'em". I had a go at the dictation test, I admit to getting more than half, and was over the moon. The course you have put together is perfect, unlike other courses, it "is" the way you tell 'em, because it's making me learn so much more in such a shorter time.

This was a good lesson for me. I tried to do this about a month ago or more and I could not do any of it. Today I was able to get almost all the sentences! And I even made almost no spelling mistakes. Good exercise. Great baritone. Cute end!

Thanks for the lesson, I have many mistakes especially, between the wordы "ю" and "у", "ы" and "и", "о" and "а", I also tend to miss the "ь" in the dictation. Overall many mistakes. So I am practicing the words by writing them repeatedly, I will be more confident once i get these. Pls let me know if there are any suggestion from you to improve these. So thanks again Dear Viktor Dimitrivich. your loyal student.

Well, you do need to listen to the lessons more than once. I can't promise to produce videos that enable you to remember everything without repeat viewing, because that's not how the human memory works. Not for language studies, anyway :-).

The best Russian fun is out in the country. They obviously have fun in Moscow, but that is very pricey fun. If you go to the country where you are the only foreigner, you will have a lot of Russian fun.

Once I was passing through Nelidovo, on the way by road from Moscow to Latvia, and a man pretty much offered me his wife for the night, as we had all been drinking together. I declined, of course, but I thought it was very hospitable of him, in an eastern sort of way...
