I'm sick and tired of you halfwits hating fucking bugs, the only ones, I think, that you should get rid of is mosquitoes, roaches, fleas, ticks, flies, termites and bed bugs, all these other insects and arachnids like spiders, scorpions, praying mantises, cicadas and bumblebees just please love and respect! if you see a bug in your house just at least catch it carefully with a jar and put them outside, or keep them in the jar if you don't fell like going outside.

Yeah yeah. Reeaaal cute. This lovely lady has necrotic venom similar to the brown recluse, but more potent. It's bites can cause large open wounds, gangrene, limb loss or death. It's adorably burying itself so it can get sick giddy little thrills by popping out of the sand and ruining the day of a hapless passer by.

Also, lets say I was hiding in the sand minding my own business and you came tromping in unexpected. Lets say I jump out of the sand and land a nasty bite on your hand. You'd probably be in better shape than if you had been bit by one of these guys. I mean, you'd probably be pretty shaken up and maybe need to wash your hand, but you probably wouldn't lose it.

The american Sicarius terrosus isn't the realy dangerous Version of the Sicarius.

The Sicarius Hahni which is living in africa has a more effective venom.

Amazing behavior, almost indicative of low intelligence. I know there have been experiments involving rabbits to test the potency of the venom, but I don't know if it was S. Terrosus or S. Hahni that were involved. I believe it's S. Hahni that is supposed to be the most venomous of the Sicaridae family.

One of the most interesting Inverts to study, but no fucking way would I have one lol These need to be on the DWA list here in the UK, unreal how its not! These spiders, although shy and reclusive and don't readily bite are dangerous, very dangerous! I do not encourage anyone to own these unless that person has massive experience and has the facility to contain them. Unlike other defensive, highly venomous spiders, the Sicarius Terrosus bite is fucking horrific! Disabled or Death! No messing!

Imagine a recluse bite, only 10x ++ worse. There are documented cases of people, who have lost limbs after a bite from this. In most cases, people just die from the bite - mainly due to no antivenom exist for this species bite. But yeah, it looks extremely cute when it digs :)

They bury themselves in the sand so they are "invisible" to their prey, then when their prey comes close enough, they snap and grab it. They are the fastest little buggers.
