If it looks good, meaning believable to the mythos and not reality, then of course things won't make sense to casual fans. Like replacing actors with mediocre actors who look more like the part. And for the record the '89 film and dark knight are both good versions of same story, and many fans like both.
I think it's a good fanfilm, and I think it look very professional. But for the life of me, I can't understand why anyone would want those two guys as Batman and Superman in a live action film. Do you realize what kindof tradeoff that is? Acting talent replaced with muscles? They aren't actors. Sure, Mike O'Hearn has done a couple of dtv movies, but he's not an actor by career, he's a fitness model.

No, he doesn't prefer Nick Cage, he prefers Battledome rejects. I guess some fans don't give a crap about acting and only care about the visuals. Funny. I mean, I thought comic fans hated Batman 89 for only being about visuals.
LOVED IT! Nice to see Supes and Bats properly proportioned in real life for once. Just one criticism, though: every time I see Batman in The Thinker position, I'm taken out of the experience; there's no reason for him to do that and I can't stand to see him do it.
That may be true, but my interpritation of Batman is that he perfers enclosed spaces and does his best thinking in confined areas. Seeing him out in the open like that with so much on his mind seems a bit dangerous, what with Two Face running around and could shoot a gun at him while he's distracted.
this is almost exactly like the animated Superman and Batman crossover.
