  • WORST CHI SAO EVER!

  • This guy is great..i wish he opened a school in fort lauderdale florida

  • How many wongs does it take to get it right?

  • @titytat1313 Guess alot :D

  • i want a CONDISSCHXSIONIN TUMMY !

  • how can somebody deslike such a lovely gangsta accent HAHAHAHHAHAHAH

  • i couldnt stop laughing at his accent

  • the chi sao is supposed to be very relaxed not rough and tense

  • @reuelckj i agree that he is very external in the practice

  • @bakachikun agree.

  • i still love bruce lee.. donny yen.. haha

  • Master Wong really focuses on the external aspects of it. Not much of relaxing and internal conditioning.

  • Balance, balance, power, balance, balance, speed, balance balance...lol pretty cool

  • The video is called 'Wing Chun training' but he does also specialize in Tai Chi and other styles aswell, so that's why they weren't sparring with Wing Chun.

  • If you martial arts persons don`t like him than look for another video. Video`s, like K1..

Obvi. K1 is SET UP! Like World Wide Whatever Fed... Dot dot dot. Real fight is,my oppinion on the street: scratching, biting, pulling youre hair, hitting the balls, spitting, offending the opponend, trowing with glass on youre head... there is no refferee on the street,NO ROUNDS AND THERE IS NO CLOCK IN REAL FIGHT !! Real fight is Wing Tsun ! Or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu !

  • I disagree about the best training, those kicks and punches aren't wing chun. Training methods are great but some of those sparring matchs looked more like Muay Thai than Wing Chun

  • i do wing chun and there is no kikkin

  • @NatalieRoxTheSox14 you are wrong.

Chum Kiu (this is the second form and has the first kicks)

However, that said. All of the kicks are low or intercepting moves.

  • @NatalieRoxTheSox14 You obviously haven't done much wing chun then, look up chi gerk

  • master wong doesnt get it wrong!

  • cool training but what the hell is going on at 6:47 thru 6:54? haha

  • If it's right, it's Wong.

  • matey at 6:24 is in trouble. look at his face...

  • terry tibbs of the wing chun world.

  • You wotta buy DVD?

  • are there fights of his peopz or himself online?

  • these guys are all killing machines

  • Master Wong is a pimp

  • Master Wong, I wanna learn wing chun with you but my big problem is that I live in Perú...So far away from there. What you can make for to help me?

    Exercises in my house ?

  • @teamoalexandra dude it's a lot cheaper for u to fly to his school instead for few weeks or something than of hiring him to come to ur house lol

  • I kinda feel like I just watched an episode of mtv's cribs! lol

  • u talk to much about power. wing shun was made for girls who were not strong and cant fight at all. So strength does not matter at all in wing chun it is all about how the body works.

  • @RadiumZtar to generate power/force with maximum efficiency of one's body, even if u're a small girl. that's it. but basically u have to develop some power, atleast enough to support your own weight. otherwise u'll never become good in wing chun. some people are too weak because they never exercised in their whole life so atleast for those it's important to practise physical

  • nice thanks for showing me the balance technique im very shit i always get decked by my kick boxing mates

  • those guys in black uniform aren't doing wing chun at all, the fighting style of wingchun is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy different!!!

  • @EternalL33t Master Wong doesn't just teach Wing Chun at his academy. He also teaches Jeet Kune Do and Tai Chi(Taijuquan) as well, so you'll see his students practicing a variety of techniques that are not entirely Wing Chun.

  • U USE DUMMY TO CONDITION HAND THATS NOT WHY YOU TRAIN ON THE WOODEN DUMMY HAHAHAHA

  • THAT IS NOT HOW YOU DO LAP SAO LOL THIS IS A JOKE OR WHAT>???

  • wait, i think i missed it, is it up to standard? lol

  • power in punches-1

  • @123puta3 Ne lupetaj.

  • Ive been watching all ur videos sir and so far i have a great improvement :) Top 1 best style for me though. Keep up the good work. :D

-p.s im using the random account :P

  • the way they were sparring didn't look like wing chun.... they just kicked! idk tho, this video wasn't very organized... but i liked some of the creative things he used for trainining.

  • @bakachikun it looks more like sanda, chinese kick boxing/mma.

  • @bakachikun it was a specific kick training. that's why

  • @bakachikun It looks like they´re practicing chi gerk. Its like chi sao but with the legs instead of the arms.

  • @bakachikun I do wing chun and believe it or not there are kicks in it as they are one of the most important strikes to do in a self defence situation.

  • if you can't afford a dummy .you can also see my wooden dummy 7 days work cost around 60$ ;-)

  • 60 guys get knocked out by wing chun=)

  • @138mws do u have to pay to join ur training?

  • why the hell im i not there

  • far out! standing and squatting on the gym ball!!!!!!

  • Never heard of chi sau with grabbing and holding onto your opponent's wrist.

  • @matreyia this is something wing chun doesn't aim for. it's not favorable to grab ur opponents arms and just hold onto them as that can require lots of strength. but it is something ur opponent may do, so it's necessary to practise it nevertheless. chi sao itself is not about that of course but then again it's a variation

  • To be fair, that school looks pretty badass. I like all the custom equipment.

I firmly believe that Wing Chun can be very effective in a typical street fight against a typical fighter/bully. Still, against a trained boxer I'm not so sure it would hold up.

  • @checkreality1

that is true for any self defence/martial art system i think. If you are up against a trained oponent you need to know your adversary and his technique, be highly traine yourself and have the guts not to just run away and hide.

  • @checkreality1 I think like most comments and any martial arts video end up reminding me.. it is the individual. Forget about wether or not "wing chun" is good.. it is just the basics of body physics and trigonometry.. The system itself I do not think can evolve anymore, but the individual can. There are a huge number of exploitable western ring boxing methods if you even just use the sil lim tau.. but again.. its not wing chun versus boxing but rather dude A versus dude B.. what do you think?

  • @sloppymantis I agree. It's not the martial art so much as it's the martial artist.

Still though, practicality plays a huge role in any martial art's effectiveness. Bruce Lee started Jeet Kune Do because he said he felt Wing Chun's footwork was too rigid. This is just one example of a person's point of view on how practical an art is. I've also heard bad things about Tae Kwon Do as well.

  • @checkreality1 In many ways it reminds of studying mythology, religion and philosophical concepts. Often times we start with a McDonalds system. Then we begin to ask questions which makes us rebels. Then we begin to form our own concepts which makes us blasphemers. If all ones peers accept something then one tends to accept it. I think all these things should encourage questions. If you do not understand somethign through your own experience, then you are just McDonalds. TKD is good for sports!

  • @checkreality1 What bad things did you hear?

  • @DarkFire741 That TKD is not practical in an actual street fight.

  • @checkreality1

Any style can be practical or functional it depends on person using it.99% of effectiveness of any style depends on the person using it.

  • what is with the footwork??

  • that black guy is pretty good, he triped the shit out of that guy lol

  • these guys r really good so stop hating on them

  • If it was a good school wouldn't it have more then five people in it?

  • OMG a chinese guy with an australian accent!!! XD

  • @Kazey0 its a british accent

  • why the fuck his says lighting ?

  • BEGGING FOR ADVICE FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC: ii was going to start MMA training but after talking to a trainer, im thinking i got a 1st dan karate when i was 16 and would rather do Wing Chun than mma, but here's the question: is wing chun really good? or is it like kung fu, in the sense that it only really helps you if you become a master at it?

  • @aae1902 I haven't ever tried Wing Chun, but I just started MMA and I really like it. If you find the right school they will really push your body to the limits and they will toughen you up. It's good for getting in shape, and it helps in everyday fights if you need to ever use it.

  • @TheAsianSociopath You know any good mma gyms in long beach

  • @aae1902 i think wing chun is still good enuf if you train the basics and everything good. thats what i like about it is it teaches you how to block and attack all in one movement and you can use it to defend yourself when it comes to close combat but really at the end of the day its all about the person

  • u eng fail win chun lol..

  • does anybody knows where this is?

  • @ThePRIMI09 it says on his website

  • 2:56-3:20 that is an old boxing secret usefull in all styles for dynamic balance in real combat

  • yo practico wing chun ace mas de 1 año y eso no es wing chun se los aseguro

  • it looks Wing Tsun to me, real not watered down (Wu Shu, Ki Gon Si)

Good Chi Sao and Laup Sao.

  • love his accent...does anyone actually know who Master Wong studied under?

  • u guys do chi sao wierd... lol

  • where is your school in london?

  • wear weights while you do this. You'll see improvement

  • I think Sifu produces some really good material, he explains it well and unlike most schools I've seen, most of the students are in good shape. As far as his training facility, it's great for what he is doing. I have rings and high bars at my facility, we are Krav Maga, so power is a big thing for us.

I have seen so many McDojo's with fat guys wearing pajamas and demos so heavily choreographed they might as well be dance routines. Sifu Wong is good, I wish he were near me.

  • anyone one think hes high when he does his videos maybe?

  • I dont know what lineage it is but Ive seen some that when they do chi sao they look like theyre putting so much forward pressure. I dont like that.

  • masterwong.tv -> our services -> web design

    lolwut?

  • What hours is this shop open...? For god's sake...kung fu is not something to sell, it's an idea, a way of life. I am practicing wing chun for a couple of months now, and i really do love it. Such men do make it so cheap...

  • Comment removed

  • Are you a Vietnamese ? You sounds like one !

  • Lot of people like to talk down about peoples fighting styles and that is annoying. Point is they got good form here and a great training method. If you don't like it then stick to what works for you.

  • look at him he is a fuckin animal..he doesnt do wing chun at all his idea of wing chun is eliminating the enemy he doesnt know the energy and psihology behind it..retard

  • @DestroyerV3 You are calling someone a retard yet cannot spell philosophy?

  • @KayoteThunder you want to tell that he is a real master ?

  • @DestroyerV3 I know he is.

  • @KayoteThunder poor guy

  • @DestroyerV3 Obvious smug douche bag is obvious smug douche bag.

  • @DestroyerV3 wake up!

  • Damn... nice Training ground now I wish theirs one just like yours in Hong Kong

  • ooh shit its ali g!

  • Sometimes i mistaken the words he said, like dummy he said tummy . and whats with the guy's face at 6:45 to 7:48?

  • this isnt wing chun. they use too much strength. wing chun is about deflecting energy not using force

  • It's looks like a quick&brite comercial

  • lets go the cheese alphabet 7:06

  • 0:50 - 1:05 the super secret handshake

  • dont bag this guy his mad as!, ive got the full dvd on this thing its maaaad as

  • You can learn a lot just by listening to him closely.

  • @sLdGlD But he changes a core concept of wing chun, not using force against force, because he can't do it. He's a fool

  • so...what's that?I never learn WING CHUN like boxing...

  • 2 months here and you approach super saiyan level..

  • here's the training ?

  • lol chuk norris will beat the shit out of them

  • @yoldashh

chuck norris got his ass whipped by bruce lee. Bruce Lee= wing chun

    Fail

  • Students are a great indicato of the quality of skill of the teacher. Master Wong has awesome students. His method is pugilistic perfection. He sets a high standard and I am inspired every time I see his external training methods. I will be spending alot more time on my wing chun and push hands dummies as well as more time on my ball and stumps....

  • cool but also kinda lame

  • Belin!! lo vedrei meglio nella salsa cubana! lui e il wing tsun due cose opposte.

  • Ultimate? Need to Spar. Sparing is Essential, but it looks like a Great place to train at.

  • nobody touching u up lol

  • if it aint win chun what is it ? what u talking about ?

  • The master wong cooking a chiken!

  • Master Shlong...

  • Looks like quality training. Definitely interested.

  • McDojo

  • @DavidDrizt -So you think Master Wong has hundreds of sub standard Dojos and training? thats what a McDojo is

  • @DavidDrizt What you think this is a mcdojo doesn't look like it to me.

  • @DavidDrizt um no

  • @DavidDrizt hehe though if he spoke with his hands more than his mouth I think he could stomp my weak kung fu skills.. Master Wongs wing chun has always seemed .. not very wing chuny to me.. do you know where he learned it from?

  • @sloppymantis well he does practise few other styles as well. one cannot simply put all that other training aside erasing it from the brains and be 100% wing chun

  • This only looks like wing chun. They lack the essence, they are just show.

  • LL cool J??

  • I think it sounds and looks better coming from an asian person

  • good commercial :D and free

  • he is very funny xD

  • Angry? I dont hear him yelling at anyone or throwing anything... His attitude is perfect for Wing Chun. To the point and no bullshit. Wing Chun isnt for everyone and he is trying to show how demanding it is. What do you want him to sound like a bubbly teenager? Sifu Wong is telling those who are serious to challenge themselves further and those who are not serious to reconsider their commitment.

I think you are being a bit dramatic... lol

  • thats the first teacher ive ever seen so angry all the time during his training.

  • this is not Wing Chun.

  • This isn't right.

  • Nothing wrong with that and with the right type of practioneers in the style it is still the dangerous Wing Chun at the core. Hard style Wing Chun in his legacy maybe. But I am still not sure if this is all hard style or just a mix of hard and soft as Wing Chung is suppose to be. In this vid I think he is just showig us one aspect of his style. This is the physical fitness part of what he created. Awesome addition!

  • some of the stuff is great stuff and has alot of good Ideas. I did notice though that at 6:50 that he was doing hubud lubud from the Kali system.

  • @manlalaban1 One of the things I will learn and am required to learn at my school is Kali sticks. Is this what you learn in your school as well? I know most Wing Chun schools vary due to lineage.

  • @saraberges kali or rattan are used in Filipino martial arts, another style that is very good with the hands but it is not wing chun. no disrespect though, nothing wrong with learning something from another style. likely specific to just your instructor though.

  • @nexqabahg unless they are maybe for butterfly swords? would be good to bring up if only for the discussion to be had at least, good training.

  • i wonder where he teaches? i want to get trained by him so bad!!

  • @5674trackrunner Did you go to his website, which is printed on the top corner of the video and in the opening credits? He also tells about his site in the last 10 seconds of the video. It seems to be an online course from what I can tell.

  • @liquidkudzu I looked on his site and his school is in the U.K.

  • good training facilities, but they are not doing wing chun.

    it is sad, but true.

  • @0638440 definately not wing chun, your'e right, im only like an amateur atm, but i'm looking into hopefully becoming at least half professional, this is not what i've been taught, for starters, they are not straight on, and do not use disablement when sparring (:

  • @Madinalakeftwtildeth sorry I dont usually comment on youtube but I thought I'd say, only because you have not been taught this type of wing chun does not mean its not real, there are many styles of wing chun and many interpretations. This is Master Wong Wing Chun, not at all less effective than the others, it all depends on the person training it. good luck!

  • @RaffParente I would have to agree with you that it may be just an interpretation, but still, I would have to say that this looks like an extremely weak perversion of the art...I recognize the form that the man on the medicine ball is doing, but the guys in combat are way too loose with their structure, their movements far too free and bouncy and the "structure" of wing chun is it's most defining characteristic of the style, so if it's wrong, then their form is wrong.

  • @0638440 Who are you to judge lol...I'm pretty sure any of those guys there would kick your ass...

  • @0638440 howso? everything about this video is wing chun

  • @0638440 they are but just modern training

  • @0638440 what do you mean?

  • @0638440 ah noo .... it doesn´t have to be 100% ip man or pan nam or whatever style

this man has his own unique style and if it is useful for him then its great ...

all of ip mans students have some little differences as it should be .... just be open for new ideas and influences from other styles as long as it is useful

  • @0638440 What is considered Wing Chun then?

  • @0638440 he practice it. but u know it best...

  • @0638440 What do you mean

  • @0638440 Its sorta like Boztefe Wing Chun no? This guy Wong does know a lot of stuff, however, he seems to train in a highly eclectic manner. He does Chen Tai Ji too, but he teaches it in a very non-traditional manner. Oh well. they're in London maybe. Streetfighting may have modified the system? Go Master Wong, heh.

  • @0638440 i dont know but it looks like it. But how do you know?

  • @kajimusha the cool thing about wing chun is to feel the oponents intentions and movements and then react to them. to do that u got to be relaxed, without tension. If your hard wing chun doesnt work, doing "hardcore wing chun" is a waste of time. if you want to do hard stuff, practise muay thai or silat.

  • @0638440 they are doing his own specialised branch off wing chun its a more modern style

  • @0638440 Why do you say this? I don't know anything about Wing Tsun but want to learn. I started with an interest in Wu Shu then seeing many different styles I thought master Wong would be a good place to start. Do you think so? If not let me know your thoughts.

  • @rock4jah Go ahead with your WC interest and build up your spirit! Do not let those Idiots effects your mind, they know nothing about WC, if they can kick a WC student's ass, then they shall start commenting here! ignore the ignorance ppl who think there are so Good....(lame)

  • @0638440 if its not wing chun what is it?

  • @brwnhoney You are right buddy! Support!

  • @0638440 there not doing wing chun youre right, there just fucking about really!!!!

  • @0638440 why is it not wing chun?

  • the white guy at the end looks like he's about to cry

  • 1:00 looks like a wierd handshake from same "cool" guys

  • to helpa you not off balance. ahaha

  • it was to my understanding that wing chun wants to conserve energy, so moving less (five principles). this looks
