To all those people who have to ask about the ethnic origins of every African folk dance clip, it is the policy of most governments to teach all children the different folk dances in their country, not just the ones from the children's own folk group. At my school, you had white children, Ndebele children etc all doing muchongoyo etc. It doesn't matter where you are from. If we put up barriers, then no African child should be doing ballet etc, which is just ridiculous.
that is great; rwandese dancers rock, even if I think Burundese are slightly better for the drums hehe. I will be in Rwanda in december; can't wait to be there and hopefully enjoy the same kind of Xmas party lol
