The point is that people are far more compliant if there is a reason given, even a non-sensical reason. This is quite useful for giving girls high-fives, hugs, dances, kino of any sort (up to and including going home with you). The reason doesn't even have to make sense.

Guys... try this- (1) walk up to a girl, (2) maintain eye contact do not look away,

(3) say "Hi", she'll respond with "Hi", you then say your name, as in "I'm John" and hold out your hand to shake hers, she'll shake your hand a tell you her name, as in "I'm Lisa". There you have it, the no-line opener... take it from there.

Very well put together video, I definitely enjoyed it - however this is a tad ridiculous. If i ask someone for directions for example - the person (girl have you) is more likely to give me an answer if she feels I genuinely don't know where I'm going - OBVIOUSLY. If I tell someone my leg hurts, can I borrow your chair, of course they are going to be more likely to give up their chair if they are a person with morals.

@AaactionMan Secondly, why was this not an example of him using these justifications in actual live pickups? Why not jump right into the point which is to pick up girls, and not steal peoples seats at a bar. I found this Entertaining to watch but ultimately pointless. If you want to pickup a girl, or have your approaches work out better - Don't make up excuses like is suggested, this is silly. Women respect Men. This means not making justifications, but actually conveying honesty.

eh experiment is not valid. You present fail time constrains with saying only for 2 seconds. It is MUCH easier to give your chair for 2 second to actually get and sit in chair just with pure argument.

this shit works on subconcious level. Its a motoric reaction, but once someone starts to think about what the justification was it will fail, unless people find it entertaining.

Try to get someone to hold your glass, be quiet, scratch your back, give their chair etc. by giving a silly justification, its fun. but dont expect someone to give you a million dollars.
