Not much can be written about Michael Jordan that has not already been said in one way or another. His accomplishments on the basketball court defy description and imitation, and his skills drew the respect and admiration of both fans and those who really weren't interested in sports. He was the idol of most of the younger players in the NBA today, his impact on the sport cannot be measured, yet he was and is so much more than just a sports star; he is a cultural icon.
