  • llcool j lurn with this gas;

  • Throwback that what im all about.. this is my song..

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • this is something you can sit back and remember the times back in the day when hip hop was hip hop!!!!! exspecially back up north!

  • TRUE SONG

  • I used love this video and song when I was a kid. I love old school rap. Rap is such garbage now days. Its all about how many hoes they have and how much money and jewelry they have while people are out here starving.

  • 21 people didnt have one love

  • Slapper!!!!

  • 15 years back, rap was more about showmanship, clothing, dance, rap style and videos (among other things) ("Jalil") Hutchins, John Fletcher ("Ecstasy") and Drew Carter (DJ Grandmaster Dee) were formed in 1981 to a high-profile following to combat RUN-DMC with storytelling and sex-appeal, once mirrored to the group, they became affiliates. ONE LOVE was introspective and one of the first (and last) great stories of rap (sans Slick Rick) the game is being spit in different ways, in different eras.

  • Such funky synth!!!! Absolute classic joint!

  • Love the choreography!

  • CLASSIC HIP-HOP!!!!!

  • Please take Colombiana, Cali, Salsa, Cumbia and Latina out of the tags absolutely no relevance. Nice hat jajajaja ..

  • One of the ALLTIME Best Tracks!!

  • Easily, 1 of the greatest song writing groups of all time. this is just 1 of many. rappers today can only wish of coming up with as many hits as these guys did.

  • Now thats what you call "SWAG" all day.....

  • i don't drink coffee, i rather get my day started with music not caffeine, and from now on in the morning while i'm on my hygiene jive this will be the song to get me moving!

i enjoy speaking in rhythm, music is what moves me.

  • LOVE IT!

  • Yo the way this joint started off was hard as hell, that beat was sick on the intro. That's why so many mc's used sampled it!!!

  • This track is CLASSIC!

  • A Yankee hat in '86. Ahead of their time.

  • @tarmamas123 Really. Its a damn Hat. They Yankees didnt just come along

  • Man..I feel like I am 15 again..lol.. I love Whodini.

  • This is what Im talking about...The good times!!! I reminisce and I am glad I still remember clips like this!

  • Slammin'!

  • Oh man the twin towers in the background :( sorry to buzz kill guys but I just happen to notice.

  • i feel what they're saying, and the music gives me goosebumps.

  • 21 People never loved at all

  • Está o homem tem que ter um só amor

  • This was one of the best rap group of all-time. Too bad they came out the same time as Run-DMC. They would have ruled the whole game

  • i love this shit

  • add 22, count me in!

  • to the 21 dislikes REALLY?

  • shiiiiiiit!!!! nothin like it

  • legends

  • If you found this mad props!

  • 21 people never had love.

  • Prodigy Y.B.E

  • str8outtatexas1 I disagree there's dudes like Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, The Roots, Evidence, Little Brother, The Percussionists, Soul Providers, Large Professor, etc that still make hip hop with substance, creativity , passion, soul etc u just need to look for their music!!!!

  • @RoyceIsTheKing I agree. I don't know all the work by those you list except for Mos Def. He is awesome....I love that song Girls that he does with Redman and Eminem...it is SLAMMIN!!!!

  • Love the choreography lol

  • Classic shit even my momma and daddy wanged this one at their many house party's. Yeah they where stiff as hell especially jalel..he moves like his stomach hurts. lmao..classic times classsic music ..ahhh those where the days

  • This was before my time but I feel this. Those dances was a no no though. lol

  • The real rap attack !

  • jalil used to drive me crazy rapping slightly off beat, but his voice was on point.

  • @jonmmadison word but he jazzes out his flow to fit every rhyme lovely.. yeah he got the voice too

  • mannn i swear i was born in the wrong music era. Imma 89s born child and I wish i was alive during the 80s just for the music. You just cant hate on this song, and the synthesizer makes it a BEAST song...o yea those dances moves are funny tho

  • @kchism1 LOL yeah you know they didn' twant to do those dances...but yeah, i was around, had the 12", and nothing but good memories here

  • Man how times change. Look at the way these cats dressed. clean, fresh cuts, & plenty of substance. what the fuck happened? Why did music like this & other great hip-hop,r&b,soul,classic rock, & funk have to end? the industry traded all this in for thugs rapping about their dicks, bitches, money, cars, guns, bling, beef with others, disrespect to adults & law enforcement. Music today really has NO substance, creativity, soul, passion, love, forgiveness ect. just materialistic, watered down, meaningless trash

  • @str8outtatexas1 TRUTH!!!!!

  • I miss this time in my life...great memories.

  • All hiphop/rap before 97ish just had a different feel, it was real, but that dance sequence needs to go!

  • @biggedd64 I 100percent agree with you!

  • All hiphop/rap before 97ish just had a different feel, it was real

  • Truer words have never been spoken

"YOU'RE LUCKY JUST TO HAVE JUST ONE LOVE!"

  • loves this song!

  • FOR YOU CARLYNN LADY KING A REAL WOMAN OUR TURKEY ZEUS KISS OUR BABY KATIE LOVE YOU ROGER

  • One love.. one love... you're lucky just to have.. one love! Remember that cheaters and liars!

  • @the1stfluter i know that's right!

  • 17 people weren't lucky enough to have one love

  • So crazy how i was just a lil kid and my ma would listen to they best jamz ever like Whodini, Im 33 now and i have teens now and they love all my old school music :) All this music touches my heart <3

  • World Trade Center in the background. Sucks they are not there anymore.

  • Damn I am glad i had an older brother i was like 6 or 7 when i heard him jammin this. This beat could be played today but these new booty rappers wouldn't do it justice like whodini.

  • Man I was glad I thought of this song out of the blue which made me go on here and see this video.

  • World Trade Centers in the back ground. God this reminds me of 1982. I wish I could go back. Even though ill shhit was happin back then. That's when crack was hittin the streets hard.

  • @chrissline77 indeed crack took whole generation OUT the ronald regan era

  • Notice these niggaz were dressed clean. What the fuck is up with niggaz these days looking fucking dirty with their pants hanging on their ankles? Its not cute. Stop sagging black niggaz. Start wearing skinny jeans like the California niggaz do.

  • This is still slappin after over 20 years! I love Whodini!

  • shorty in this video is a cutie. wonder where she @?

    CLASSIC HIP HOP!!

  • "To have lost love was a Hurtin' lesson, but to have had love was a definite blessin'..."

  • Good old days in NYC.......Damn I miss that shit.

  • classic..

  • Maaaaaan this is the jam..reminds me of my uncles...love this one.

  • The guy who doesn't have a verse is Grandmaster Dee...the DJ. Back then dj's didn't try to rap all like that. They just stayed on the ones and twos.

  • BEFORE VIACOM,CLEAR CHANNEL, AND THE WHITE SUPREMEISTS GROUPS TOOK OVER RAP,HIP HOP AND Rnb!

Yet country, rock and pop can be clean and postive but hip hop and rnb can't!

yep! they definitely want to brainwash our race!

  • oooh whodini is too sexxy! where you at baby???

  • 16 Dislikes????? WOW

  • THIS AN OLD OLD SONG BUT SOUNDS GOOD

  • This is when rap actually had substance to it's music, when all different walks of life and people could relate!

  • this song just oozes simpler times, clean music, rap at its purist. it just gives you a good feeling hearing it. and the guys were sharp. . . and cute.

  • This is real music

  • I always thought the guy with the hat looked like Charlie Wilson, the lead singer from the GAP Band!

  • I like this video and song but the dude in the middle really needs to take off that silly

ass hat! I mean is it a sombrero or a lampshade?

  • Check out Ozone from Breakin. Dude had a similar kind of hat. Each to his own...

  • @QRSteele Man back in the early to mid 80's , he was known for that hat like LL cool J was known for his Kangol .. I know in todays standards it look silly , but in those days you had to have a idenity like Slick Rick with his eyepatch and gold , Run DMC with the addidas , kid of kid & play with the super high top fade Quame' with his polka dots and Flava flav with his big timeware around his neck . As many others . No disrespect ment , it was in case you didn't know .........

  • @Dalit5 LOL!!

  • Ecstasy's flow is the goat imo

  • Respond to this video... How in the world, did we go from this, to l'il Wayne and l'il Kim?

  • @TheReneex It's real simple, actually. Kids from the suburbs started listening to it, and instead of focusing on the culture as a whole, they only concentrated on the aspect with negative lyrics and violent content. As a result, the music was watered down and bastardized- all because of that 70% of White kids supporting only 10% of the music.
