I wouldn't think that's the issue, the blue really is quite dark on these ones too, more likely it's the red, which aren't very red.
I think that was done to allow you to see in relatively natural colour as it was very surprising on channel 4 how natural the colouring was considering the specs. Through the blue lense on the otherhand you could get no sense of colour.
Doesn't work... I've just been a bit sick on my lap though. That said, if your aim was to make the viewer sick in their lap, then the boy done good.

Yep, I had the ones from last week's channel 4 3D week. Perhaps I need to have eyes that are really close together, like yours.

hmmmm. My glasses are a quite dark blue. I had some other free specs where the blue lense was too pale. Maybe thats an issue

Looking at them now it's really more of a sepia than a red.
