We have all been spoiled by Pixar/Dreamworks quality CGI. I would imagine it is a million times harder to make a perfect piece of CG with limited resources budget etc.
The Earth was pretty cool, but wasn't to keen on the rest especially the song, but i love your stop motion!!!!! Don't you think its much better, not bad for a first though

I think we did a good job with a terrible (albeit catchy) song, only 2 months (was it 2?) and no rendering power.
If we'd had had a bit longer we could have done some really nice texturing, post process and rendering jobs. The animation is top notch though.
