The norse gods were the old gods and when they died they were replaced by the newgods whose realm are new genesis and apokolips. Darkseid is a descendant of Loki. okay story wise (at least until the past 5 years) Marvel wins hands down, however on a power scale DC wins. Thats why Marvel did so well in the first place, their characters even Thor were more relatable then DC's because their characters are so absurdly powerful. Sure the hulk and thor could do plenty of damage, but Bats could more than likely take Wolvy one on one. I've seen lots of wolverine jumping in head first and getting blasted to shit. He's durable, but he's not a great fighter. There's a difference. Even he has admitted to losing his fighting abilities and becoming more like an animal in comics.

@shipking1995 Hulk has plenty of weaknesses. One being that he can be knocked out if hit hard enough. He's also weak against machines that absorb gamma waves. Plus his biggest weakness... Make him laugh, he becomes Banner. Plus I'm pretty sure Superman won in the Hulk vs Superman universe cross over. People underestimate supes for some reason. I hate his character, but aside for maybe Thor he's be the strongest character in this match up out right. I mean you gotta get Hulk pissed first.

Superman can solo everyone in the avengers, with the acceptation of thor, for supes is weak to magic, but he can still do some damage, he beat Captain Marvel and black adam before, both have godly powers and know magic. Batman can probably incapacitate the avengers if given enough time to prepare. the GL corpes can take down most of marvels universe, I doubt other jl members could solo the avengers.

Hell I have a JLA comic where he builds a time machine on the fly. in the comics he just uses lucius, who by the way has no idea he is batman, and wayne enterprises as a way to gather parts and mass produce alot of his gear, but he actualy builds it first in the cave. He has suits of armor similar to Starks. remember bats is the guy who invented all new ways to take down the JLA.

@PainVsPerfect why wouldnt he? there is nothing the hulk could do to stop him, even if the hulk tried to hang on by grabbing him all Superman would need to do is fly into the sun...or hell, just fly into space and watch the hulk die from lack of oxygen. There are no members of the Avengers that can survive in space other than Thor...Justice League has Superman, Martian Manhunter, the Green Lantern, captain marvel, the atom all can fly in space...aquaman can hold them underwater :p

As for Ms Marvel...after Rogue took her powers she did not regain most of them, no lightspeed or space survivability. Ms Marvel would fall easily to one of the many magic users in Justice league since the only form of energy she cannot absorb is magic.

If Shazam can hurt Superman because the power of the gods that give him his powers, wouldn't it make sense for Thor, being a god himself be able to possibly defeat supes, and no Batman would not be able to turn Hulk back into Banner before hulk pummels him, and despite what most say about wolverine, he is a more intelligent fighter than most give him credit for, hes lived long enough, but to be honest I too think JLA has the advantage, though I think it would still be a big battle!

@znjfl I was mainly just pulling your leg for fun. Phoenix could melt Wolverine if she would just sit still for a damn second and focus on doing so. Superman however could not KILL wolverine, but he could no doubt smack him around. But smacking around a guy who can regenerate his own liquefied brain stem isn't going to get much done. So a brawl between superman and Wolverine is just stupid and pointless because nothing would get done.

The norse gods were the old gods and when they died they were replaced by the newgods whose realm are new genesis and apokolips. Darkseid is a descendant of Loki. Also the DC heroes, particularly Wonder woman has to deal with the Greek gods. you are talking about gods being un beatable, but Marvels ares god of war was ripped in half by the sentry marvels version of superman.

okay story wise (at least until the past 5 years) Marvel wins hands down, however on a power scale DC wins. Thats why Marvel did so well in the first place, their characters even Thor were more relatable then DC's because their characters are so absurdly powerful. Even batman is unrealistic he's a man who is a genius in like every subject who invented a freaking time machine in one comic. I remember one comic where superman threw a moon and then green lantern moved the earth.

Sure the hulk and thor could do plenty of damage, but Bats could more than likely take Wolvy one on one. I've seen lots of wolverine jumping in head first and getting blasted to shit. He's durable, but he's not a great fighter. There's a difference. Even he has admitted to losing his fighting abilities and becoming more like an animal in comics.

@shipking1995 Hulk has plenty of weaknesses. One being that he can be knocked out if hit hard enough. He's also weak against machines that absorb gamma waves. Plus his biggest weakness... Make him laugh, he becomes Banner. Plus I'm pretty sure Superman won in the Hulk vs Superman universe cross over. People underestimate supes for some reason. I hate his character, but aside for maybe Thor he's be the strongest character in this match up out right. I mean you gotta get Hulk pissed first.

Superman can solo everyone in the avengers, with the acceptation of thor, for supes is weak to magic, but he can still do some damage, he beat Captain Marvel and black adam before, both have godly powers and know magic. Batman can probably incapacitate the avengers if given enough time to prepare. the GL corpes can take down most of marvels universe, I doubt other jl members could solo the avengers.

Hell I have a JLA comic where he builds a time machine on the fly. in the comics he just uses lucius, who by the way has no idea he is batman, and wayne enterprises as a way to gather parts and mass produce alot of his gear, but he actualy builds it first in the cave. He has suits of armor similar to Starks. remember bats is the guy who invented all new ways to take down the JLA.
