Not so now, though i can do Cagney better. A ' TRUE' American treasure,along with Garland, Marilyn (no last name needed ! ), Gable, Bogart, James Stewart, John Wayne...we will NEVER see acting like his ever again....sadly...Thank God we can always watch his movies over and over with the greatest of all classics ' Yankee Doodle Dandy !'

@madhamudeux: when comedians did impressions of Cagney, they always used that line, which he never really said. (Just like Bogart never said "Play it again, Sam.") And when they did impressions of Cary Grant, they always said the "Judy, Judy, Judy" line, and I rather doubt Grant ever said THAT either. (Famous example in an episode of Andy Griffith where Goober uses that line but doesn't sound at all like Cary Grant, lol!) So in this video clip, Cagney is referencing those impressions.

People used to impersonate Cary Grant by saying a line from the film, "Only Angels Have Wings." The character in the film was called Judith and he would say things to her like, "hello Judy" or "Come on Judy" but he never actually said, "Judy Judy Judy". I suppose it's a way to make fun of Grants dialect and his unusual and often funny way of speaking. James Cagney never actually said, "You Dirty Rat" They're just making fun of their popular personalities as expressed in a popular film.
