The spirit started before our body and will continue after our body. The body is just a part of its journey.

We are a spirit with spiritual needs, a mind with mental/psychological needs and a body with bodily/material needs.

A successful life can thus be interpreted as the balanced union, equilibrium between mind, body and spirit - I believe Islam is this balance which is manifested by the Islamic shakhsiyah

Nice video. It really is not easy to put God in the middle.

It is only human nature to lose focus. Human beings focus on what they can immediately see or feel and get distracted.

As you mentioned prayer and supplication is a way of connecting to God and helping you focus on Him. However, even prayers can become a routine, or a chore without discipline, I'm struggling with focusing in my prayers.
