  • sehr schleppend, ohne musikalischen Ausdruck und langweilige Registrierung, schade

  • @Laetitia1985ify Rediculous comment, you even did not notice the middletone temperament, which is highly interesting, as we are hearing here the Fantasia Chromatica.

  • lovely!

  • A fabulous rendition, many congratulations!

  • how did you change the registration at 4:36??? Both hands and feet are away from any pistons!

  • There are pistons on the right side of the console for his assistant.

  • Sweelinck's organ, built in the 16th century certainly did not have 16' stops in the pedal. It had only a Trompet 8' and Nachthoorn 2'. His interpretation is therefore a baroque-romantic adaptation, with heavy pedal stop usage, of a renaissance piece, and this -in my opinion- doesn't work very well.

  • @numbersecrets 1) I think I would trust the Professor's interpretation 2) do you think the composer would have used 16' stops if he had them? 3) why when I read comments like this do I always think - why do we all have to interpret this tunes the same way? 4) sounded very good to me 5) yo momma 6) go watch my version of edleweiss. So there! Nyah! :P Baroque-romatic...sheesh...so you heard Sweelinck play then?? :P :P

  • @numbersecrets Sounds pretty nice to me! There's more than one way to skin a cat.

Love the meantone sound! It's like a feast for the ears. Note how the last chord rings in perfect harmony.
