  • Come on guys, the line is barely visible. At least I can tolerate it (maybe not for a movie... I can give you that

  • seamless ???!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • it's been 2 years now

  • Wow. Its actually happening. All the tech I've seen in movies are coming. Love my Samsung Droid Charge.

  • a "Dont Panic" is missing at the cover of this.. device..

  • cool it can fold. but will it blend.

  • lame, and the excuse about if they used a soft plastic is just that - an excuse. Kind of like when they first came out with a flat screen tv in the 80s, they werent flat screen, they were just flatter than what consumers had been used to seeing. manufactures were just trying to be the first. A reasonable assertion can be made that if one is going to demonstrate a folding seamless display, then that is what one should do. Anything other than that is shit.

  • @pACKERSpHAN1BAGILION Sorry, english is not my language, sometimes i can miss words XD

  • With graphene now this oled screen is almost obsolete

  • @Leucotrain he said it can be made seamless... pay attention next time

  • cute eyes. stereotype of asians

  • The "seam" you are all seeing is a poor last minute design choice they seem to have made selecting glass as the protective layer of the display.

The seam is caused by the space between the two glass panels. The OLED display itself is perfectly seamless.

If they had used a soft compressible plastic instead of the glass, you would not be able to see a seam.

  • The part of the video I hate the most is when he says, "seamless," as there is obviously a seem.

What he should have said is, "almost seamless."

  • smartphones? lil bit huge for a smartphone no? xD

  • graphene displays are the shiznit

  • i see a future in this technology maybe pocket sized netbooks

  • why not nintendo use this kind of display it would be awesome

  • "Foldable Oily display"

Let's cook some meat while watching television!

  • that would be great for the 3ds =)

  • Yeah... Can't we sue them for false advertising a product for NOT doing something they say it does. Ahem... "seamless..."

  • I hope the next DS uses a folding screen like this.

  • seamless? i see a line

  • @PoisonPatric who cares, i'd use it

  • @PoisonPatric that would be a fold not a seam

a seam is a line caused by the conjoining of two separate pieces as opposed to one piece that has a crease

  • @PoisonPatric As in there is no physical space between the two flaps. Anything you try folding will make this.

  • @PoisonPatric The glass is seamed, the screen is not!!! It is a completely flexible molecularly engineered plastic!

  • so it seems like people here in youtube have the slightest clue about OLED

i myself had an internship in Samsung Techwin and at the last day of my intern, they invited us in the samsung electronic building

there i saw a bending OLED, i repeat "bending." it could also be folded without any mark left behind

so stop complaining and eat whatever they give because samsung is your last choice of electronic screen play devices anyway

  • @rainzoro

graphene would be a lot better for this job

  • lol and u will get a shitty little mark in the middle xD

  • @KnoCantMix It's just a prototype...

  • que nota !!!!!!!

    lo quierooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • i get a fingerprint on my screen and i go crazy...i can't imagine but line in the middle will sure put me in prison

  • hahahaha :)

  • wow. i see laptops like these in the future.

  • Introducing.... the folding iPhone

  • @Bioquakee

    iFold

  • This is really interesting to watch! Especially when I&TBPSQUOm at work right now. haha cool video hope you make more in the future

  • that is a big phone lol . i dont think my pants will fit that phone.

  • Eeh... No it's not! Never heard of the iPhone or HTC Touch HD? You can see how big it is folded, and that's a regular phone-size!

  • Yea clearly not seamlrss

  • nice!! but i see a seam....

  • pretty awesome
