I think Hudson is gorgeous! She and Lucy definitely have striking features that make them beautiful ladies. I love Callisto's facial expressions; she's so delightfully wicked, yet deep down lies a tormented soul overcome with grief and revenge. Callisto is undoubtedly one of the best, well rounded villains of TV history. The only villain I have ever felt as much sympathy for as the heroine.

@danixcalifornia15 I thought her entire design was very Mary Sue, and her facial expressions very... hackneyed. She doesn't have to try to look so wicked on face value. And she went through so many transformations its not even amusing.

Xena's doppelganger Diana is a classic Mary Sue, but Callisto? She doesn't need anyone to rescue her in a battle, she can even hold her own against the warrior princess herself. I don't think there's anything Mary Sue about her at all, unless you're referring to her angel form in which case I agree with you. She became VERY Mary Sue-ish once she found peace, and while I'm glad she was reunited with her family, I'm not sure I liked the complete turn around of her character.

As for Hudson's many faces, I have to disagree. Her teeth-baring grin that she wears so well is her trademark. It really accentuates how maniacal she is as well as how frivolous she is in mortal combat. Having been robbed of her childhood, she has the mentality of a deranged little girl and fighting is fun and games to her. We see this in Hudson's facial expressions. JMO.
