The Hindustan Ambassador, still a popular car in India, is actually based on a 1950s Morris Oxford, not a Minor. The modern Ambassador's probably don't share a single part with the original Morris', newer ones having Isuzu engines. Why would Peugeot want to show one of their cars (the 206) all beaten up though? Funny but odd advert.
