I'd like to know why all the Mentats from Dune 2000 got replaced cos this game is meant to only take a month or so after 2000.

I think Vincent is the only mentat in Emperor thats better than the 2000 counterpart and even then, its a very close call. Roma is hot and foxy and does a decent job of getting the Ordos Business manner across, but she just can't compare with Edric O. Premier Romanov is also a good mentat, but hes going up against John Rhys Davies, its a one-sided duel.

Great game but follows a bit mix of Lynch's movie and the book combined. I always enjoyed this game since the 90's as a teen since i've been into the Dune novels since i was 12. Anyone thinks Dune is similar to Star Wars, Avatar, Matrix, Fifth Element, Stargate, and Serenity?

@Johnlindsey289 I do and I even consider Matrix as a part of Dune continuity because the Butlerian Jihad was AGAINST MACHINES WHO WERE TOO SELF-AWARE AND WHO ALMOST WIPED OUT HUMANITY so I think that's a little too Matrix-like to be ignored.

Since when are Harkonnens 'pretty' stock? Only non-ugly Harkonnen I can think of are Feyd-Ruatha, and a much younger Vladimir. I'm not sure if Duncan and Jessica count as full-Harkonnen >.>

Those sons really remind me of Rabban and Feyd-Rautha, yet Piter was 3rd best mentat ever, ahead of him Thufir and Teg. (Duncan stays jsut a swordmaster of Ginaz for me)

How is toxic volcanic gas cool? This is probably earth might look like if we're not careful. Their conditions is why the harkonnens started wearing heartplugs, to drain infected blood. But then some nutter decided to use this as a form of execution
