I remember walking up to the stadium over in the parking lot back behind left field. I was coming to watch the second game of the double header, and I thought we had already lost that game. Like if you zoomed out to the parking lot, you would see me jumping up and down over at some railing near the buildings...hahah

It's too bad Eastern Michigan and many other northern schools will never be able to compete with southern college baseball powers like South Carolina. It's just too cold in the north during March and April, when many college baseball games are played.

Eastern Michigan averages about 200-300 people in attendance for their home games. South Carolina's attendance probably averages more than 5000 fans.

Many good northern players go play at southern schools or head directly for the pros.
