Morris has also said he's not really interested in that sort of thing anymore, but I like Brooker's style of disgusted and outraged rants anyway, I would prefer he do his own thing rather than a Brass Eye style show, even though I loved Brass Eye.

Agree with you on Lauren Laverne, but she was never a comedian to begin with. If anything though Jimmy Carr is coming off worst on the show, with his dull and facile observational one-liners that lack his trademark ascerbic humour.

As for Soapbox, when it's good, its very good but overall, it's more of a mixed bag. Some of those clips can be pretty stilted when Mitchell tries to regurgitate from a script. Frankly, I could take or leave Jimmy Carr.
