If you got the Yellow Light, it can be fixed properly. You just gotta open the system and re-paste the thermal paste on the main processor. I've fixed quite a few of them a few years ago, and none of them had any problems since. Don't do this trick, this Video is a parody of the infamous towel trick.

Plus, a 360 and a PS3 are virtually the same price now. Your PS3 lasted you almost 3 years. Some peoples BRAND NEW 360's only last 3 Weeks, if even.

Stick with Sony. Yeah, the 3rd Party 720p only support SUCKS, but at least you are paying for games that work on Reliable hardware.

Buy a 360 Arcade, hack it, and burn games. If you find games you like, buy them for PS3 to play online, plain and simple.

I really love 360, I'm just really tired of this Red Ring crap. Then the NXE update made my charge and play kits not work anymore, making my battery packs useless. NXE also red ringed my other 360's, it's not worth it anymore.

I have a 360 and don't update it at all, and I'm fine with it. I traded in all my accessories for it though, and bought some PS3 games, etc.

PS3 isn't as good as XBOXLive, but at least it's reliable hardware.

It was actually a second 360 I had laying around, so I made this parody with it. I still have my other 360 as well as a PS3.

I am using the PS3 a lot more now though, because the hardware is more reliable, even though XBOX LIVE and 360 are 2000 times better. Too bad MS isn't redesigning the 360 to fix the red ring problem.

I was a die hard 360 fan, now it doesn't matter what consoles I like, as long as it works! :-P

Sure, no problem. I love 360 also, but I just put too much stock into it. The NXE update killed one of my other 360's, then I found out that NXE also killed Charge kit compatibility with some 360's.

So right now I just play 360 whenever a cool game comes out, but def. not as much as I used to play it.
