He should be inducted into the Hall of fame....In my book he,s right up there with the best of them Merle Haggard, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, ect. Vern Gosdin's voice was instantly recognizable and He had a singing style like no other. You have my support Lacy Lynn and I hope you succeed because He belongs there. Country music at it's best! Vern and Lacey's voices harmonize so well in this song. My family has always been big fans of 'The Voice'. My son's happened to see the funeral procession go by in Nashville and the reality of the loss of one of country music's best ever really was felt. He never got the recognition he so deserved. Hopefully he will eventually be inducted in the Hall of Fame.

@brunester1 Yes! It is really me! I still sing from time to time and would love to possibly venture back out on a tour of some sort! I just opened up locally for Tracy Lawrence and then more recently, The Kentucky Headhunters! I truly enjoy singing. Thank you so much for the compliment. I now live in Iowa and own my own restaurant! I so miss my friend Vern! If we would have kept recording perhaps we would have gotten Duet of the Year! Live Safe & Happy!

It's inconceivable that a singer as good as Vern Gosdin, also known as The Voice, has not been inducted into The Country Music Hall of Fame. I must say this is gross injustice. It's a real shame!!!

im a classical pianist from italy. When i hear country music sung this way, i dont think it has less to say than bach,chopin, etc. It's immortal Art as well -and Vern Gosdin is a powerful source of emotions
