  • This is wonderful.

Please say who the artist is. I would like to use this for my grandmothers funeral.

  • pretty

  • I'm gunna subscribe!

  • Very beautiful voice! I'll subscribe!

  • Who is John Andrew Stephenson? (see JudeMaris info). My volume,' The Poetical Works of Thomas Moore' (published in Paris in 1829 makes no mention of him. The traditional air it was written for is listed as - 'My Lodging is on the cold Ground'. Does anyone know if this is the same tune?

  • i'm doing this for my grade 3 a cappella piece :)

  • i did this for my grade 3 exam

    XD

  • @emerrrr4goligal I also sang this too!

  • what an awesome voice and recording in honor of Thomas Moore

  • Lovely. Could you please list the artist. She's amazing.

  • This sounds like one voice, using three tracks, so whoever she is, she has a beautiful voice.

  • You have very good ears, that is indeed the case :)

  • Absolutely beautiful. What acapella group is singing this? I usually don't care for female acapella groups but this version of this song is great!

  • great.

  • sublime. thank you.

  • i can play this in flute jajaja

  • This delicate a capella rendition transforms the simple tune into something so beautiful.

  • This is the greatest wedding song ever written. Yet sadly I have never heard it at a single wedding. What could be more appropriate for a young couple starting a life together with the intent of also ending that life together many years from now? The youth and beauty will fade, but the love and remembrance of that beauty will live on in their hearts forever.

  • I walked down the aisle to this, actually.

  • Congratulations, Birdsong. I hope your life will be filled with the personification of the sentiments expressed in this most beautiful love song. If so, your life will be a happy one indeed. As will the life of your loved one.

  • I agree...it would be the most awesome wedding song ever because it is about true love-not the fake Hollywood kind of love that is based on transient, outward beauty...

  • The song takes on far more meaning when you realized that Thomas Moore wrote this song for his wife Bessie after she had contracted a terrible skin disease that ruined her looks. She was afraid he would leave her. He never did. " for the heart that has truly loved never forgets, but it truly loves on to the close ". Amen.

  • I've been trying to find this album "Grammophone in the valley" via google but I haven't found it. Would appreciate it if you could put me in the right direction. Very beautiful. Wishing you & Bob all the best
